What are songs/music you loved as a child and still love to this day?
Other than the early Metallica reference, It’s threads like this that make me realize how young I am (pushin’ 60 with a short stick), What a bunch of ol’ folgies...(It’s a joke OK?)

“Grand Old Flag”
Oh man, that is a great memory! Can totally feel what you were feeling. Thanks for sharing. :)
Love My Sweet Lord, BTW.
Lol...don’t know that one, but funny coincidence you thought of it yesterday.
I have collected over 200 mp3’s of songs that I used to listen to from the 40s, 50s, 60s.
In the late 50s/early60s, TV wasn’t much and superstations played all night long. There wasn’t much else to do but listen to radio.
Even now, when there isn’t anything worth watching on the 200+ cable TV channels, I put on headphones, select the random autoplay on the music directory on my computer, and listen for hours to those old classics.
My daughter would consider Metallica old ‘cause they are from the 80s!
Haven’t heard that in years. Fabulous. They play some pussy version in Starbucks. When the music got faster, Little Richard definitely carried the torch.
One of my favorites is the Ray Stevens version of “Sunday Morning Comung Down.”

Wonderful image. Music is magic.
I don’t think I’ve watched that one yet. I’ll have to put it on the list.
“Wooly Booly.” How innocent we were then. Always one of my favorites to get a party up on their feet.
I’ll try to find the scene if possible and you don’t mind. It’s a wonderful scene transition from the one prior.
Where Oh Where Are You Tonight?
not at all! Thanks, I did get a list of it but was sidetracked as usual.

Just about anything from 1967 to 1974 top 40 charts.
Our stations here were CKLW and WKNR here in Detroit. There are sites where you can look up the charts for those years.
