alcohol, nicotine, caffeine and aspirin are drugs.
Pot. . .meet kettle.
“Then you have a guy like me. 40 years smoking the stuff, never had one problem, highly successful carreer, beautiful home/wife/family, and this factual case is mimicked by virtually every pot smoker I have known and associated with for the past 40 years.”
And while doing so supporting murdering, torturing and viciously cruel anti-American cartels, the same cartels that employ illegal aliens to carry backpacks full of it across the US border. . .the same cartels that murder US Agents (for example: Kiki Camarena, http://www.camarenafoundation.org/why_kiki.htm; Brian Terry, http://townhall.com/tipsheet/katiepavlich/2014/09/25/exclusive-brian-terrys-sister-on-holders-resignation-not-a-coincidence-n1896769) and attempt to murder others (my son, a BP Agent shot a drug smuggler that that tried to kill him).
Change the law. Until then you contribute to murder and help illegal aliens come into the US.
Your calm, logical, reasoned, Christian [sic!] response? You have called me burnout, high all the time, loser. I suppose in your un-drug-altered real world, those are considered worthy debating points. So be it.
That I have imbibed for the last 40 years makes me a bit of an informed authority on the substance in question. For those among you convinced (largely without any direct firsthand knowledge) of its deleterious effects on ones mental function, I submit that a reasoned and evenhanded assessment of this very post might at least cause one to cede that the author was in possession of all his ratiocinational and deductive capabilities, and conveyed without equivocation or malaprop a cogent and consistent message with no apparent hindrance to his ability to express himself.
But, according to your ilk, Im the one who is somehow cognitively or expressively challenged.
LMAO!
True, and that applies to both ends of the equation in that, while the real unemployment rate in CO is probably higher than the stats, the national unemployment rate is also higher than the stats. The bottom line is that the economy in CO is doing better than the nation as a whole. Want evidence? Go to Colorado and tell me what you see. What I see are entire city blocks being torn down and rebuilt. Stand on a streetcorner in any major city in CO and do a 360 and you will see construction projects -- large and small -- in every direction that you turn.
Grow up.
Heh. Of course not.
You have to admit though, both pot and the GOP had their best election ever in 2014!
LOL
My story mimics yours, and all my pot head friends make plenty of money and are in stable families.
I sense that a lot of opposition to mj is simply cultural programming.
Maybe the idea of successful people who happen to ingest cannabis does not fit their meme.
Indeed, marijuana is a multi-billion dollar industry nationwide, and is providing jobs and generating revenue in CO.
If a person grows thier own plants and thus does not support the narcocartels, do you still disapprove of cannabis?
I ask because your argument is weak one and I’m sure you have more.
“Not me, I am special”
You are well aware trafficking of marijuana into the USA and the cartel links and their crimes but yet you claim ‘not me.”
Of course, I am sure you never bought from a dealer, that you always grew your own even before you took your first hit.
“you assume alot and spout vigorously without any true knowledge of the specific individual you assail “
Pot. . .meet kettle. . .again. You simply are not aware of how illogical your rants are, and you choose to close your eyes to the true evil associated with its trade. And you DO contribute to the cartels by endorsing the illegal use of the drug. (Not everyone is as responsible as you are and grow their own even before they try it.)
Your drug of choice I am sure makes you mellow and laid-back. . .as proved by your posting's on this thread. Oh, wait. Never-mind.
“Grow up.”
You first.
You have a choice:
a) Be an adult, let this be the end of it. Nothing more need be said.
b) Let your 40-yrs of smoking dope juvenile need for the ‘last word’ over-ride your adult mind and respond with some tiresome childish rant or ‘cute’ snark.
I am betting your dope-addled mind is not up to choice “a.” In that case, please know I really don't care what you feel but apparently you care what I think. Think about that.
Weird how pot smokers are so proud. No other drug, or alchohol, is like that. I never anyone but stoners brag abuot their drug use, or defend it so.
...and are branded "Brain Dead."
By these reasonable, thoughtful, caring, drug-free nice guys. What a bad joke on themselves,
Well put. Talk much?
LMAO!!!!!
Stoners smirk and giggle with each other like it is some inside joke that the non smokers just don’t get.

Best Scotch for about $100-200 per bottle? Posted on Tue Jul 08 2014 (76 replies)
You clearly missed my point. Asking about which Scotch is better is non bragging or defending drinking. Even a heavy drinker knows there are harmful effects to drinking. But the stoner will admit to no detrimental effects, evidence to the contrary not withstanding.
Asking about which is the best $200 scotch to buy, is touting scotch.
Even a heavy drinker knows there are harmful effects to drinking.
You've never seen an alcoholic in denial?
Do you mind if I ask you—do you drive under the influence? What effect did 40 years of smoking have on your lungs? Is pot legal where you live? How much does it cost? Just curious. Please ignore if you feel I’m being nosy.
