Android Samsung Galaxy S3

LOL! Thanks for proving my point once again. That's a USED three year old Android piece of junk. . . which is being sold at retail for $169. That means they bought it wholesale for half that from the user: $85.00

Here is what they are selling three year old iPhones for on Amazon, idiot.

How about FOUR YEAR OLD iPhones?

Again, using the standard used merchandise markup, they bought them from the user for half of what they are selling them for. . . that means they are paid the user about $200-225 them, more than twice what your Android was purchased from the user for! This was enough to START A NEW CONTRACT! Rinse Repeat. Even a FOUR YEAR OLD iPhone brings more wholesale than your Android JUNK does. . . However, a user can sell his iPhone retail for more—such as the prices above, instead of selling his iPhone wholesale on trade in, and pay a good percentage of the retail price of a new iPhone. Even a four year old iPhone sold retail will pay for the downpayment on a new iPhone 6!

And you think my comment about Apple NOT designing for obsolescence was funny. . . yet all of these older phones are still in demand, commanding high prices. They are not obsolete. They will work with the Apple ecosystem. That is one of the reasons that Apple is now the only $700 Billion dollars company in the world. You cannot understand that at all because you are an idiot at understanding the LAW of demand and supply. . . and how a business can keep its customers satisfied so they keep coming back for more of the same.

You really do not understand economics at all. Nor do you understand one whit of Total Cost of Ownership. Look back at the chart I posted above that showed that owning a new iPhone was less expensive in the long run that owning Blackberries or Androids. You are pennywise and Pound foolish. Actually, you are just a fool.

As I said before, and will continue to repeat, you know the PRICE/COST of everything and the VALUE of nothing.

You keep talking about "your phone". I found a photo of you using your phone:

For you, everything devolves to the bottom line. . . face it, you, like all Android users are cheapskates.

Heaven help you if anyone ever told you about the future value of money. You'd starve to death.

Yeah they were all more expensive. And again Sparky it means even in the used market Applebots are dumb enough to pay premium.

Remember you tried to tell us that Total Cost of Ownership is LESS on an Apple yet you keep proving yourself wrong.

You keep touting Apple's High Prices as somehow saving money. Did I ever say at anytime in this discussion that apple was cheaper? YET you post Apple Higher prices as somehow proof I was wrong. Apparently in your mind somehow saying over and over Apple is higher priced will prove you save money YET basic math proves otherwise.

Back to the point I made on this thread and you tried to refute. Most people who use a cell phone CLAIM they NEED the latest and greatest to keep up. They don't when you look at what most people do a two year old phone does everything they do but they need to rationalize their purchase of an uber expensive geegaw buy claiming such things as (hahahaha) "total cost of ownership makes me save money."

Remember you are the one who claimed that by paying premium you saved money. You don't. As you keep showing you just spend more and more money on higher and higher priced products. And the only logical reason people do such is for status.

"And you think my comment about Apple NOT designing for obsolescence was funny. . . yet all of these older phones are still in demand, commanding high prices. They are not obsolete. They will work with the Apple ecosystem."

Oh so Apple revised iOS8 to work with iphone four and older? See if you aren't making your new software work on your older gadgets you are making them fall behind. Its how they get you to stay on the treadmill and keep pumping money into them. Can't get the latest and greatest apps and so on. Can't upgrade the hardware with new chips and memory or a newer camera, you gotta buy a new phone. ALL the phone manufacturers play that game. Its a reality, deal with it Sparky.

If they truly supported older gadgets (and why would they being they don't make a dime from them) they would design their latest software to work with the older items. They would produce hardware upgrades and such for them. They don't and that my friend is QED.

And also remember Sparky I say Android does the exact same thing as Apple. They just tend to cost less. My question for all of them is why pay premium when there is no actual need to. Not when most people use their phone for texting and phone calls etc. The reason they do is it is a status symbol then they try and claim they save money. They don't period.
