Canaccord Genuitys Mike Walkley this morning ... writes that his assessment of vendor data in smartphones suggests, whose shares he rates a Buy, captured 93% of industry profits in Q4 ... while Samsung Electronics has a minority of profit and all others operate at no profit or at a negative margin

Does an Android do email/texting? (typed words and emotes etc. can I communicate using androids in this fashion?)
Does an Android Take Pictures. (And remember a picture is a picture is a picture. its a moment in time all the pics my mom took no one said OMG if only she had a gazillion megapixel camera it would have been worth keeping them but since she didn't we should throw them all away.)
Does an Android make phone calls? (Again its a phone call if you can hear and understand each other then its all you need.)
Does and Android have internet? (If you can see the pages and read them and see the movies and picks then its doing the job that needs done)
See you are trying to rationalize paying more by saying it does these better and does so to a point that paying 5 times more in price is financially justified to get a job done. We both know it doesn't but you keep squirming and trying to wriggle your way out of the corner you have painted yourself into.
And that is the fun part for me.
That sounds wonderful to me. I’ve been looking for a signature perfume for a long time. I’m going to find a sample and try it out.
According to what I read, oak moss now accounts for only one-tenth of one percent of fragrance. Thanks a lot, you moronic treehuggers.
You are the one painted into a corner. You don't know what a smartphone is. You just described a FEATURE PHONE, a phone with limited functionality. I described them earlier in this thread.
As I said before, you are talking about a phone that does basic functions only. . . NOT A SMARTPHONE. That means, idiot, you and I are not even talking about the same class of devices. . . and you get on here and blither about these things, calling people names, insulting everyone who disagrees with you and your ignorant claims, and you don't even know what you are talking about.
It's as if you are claiming your ten-speed bicycle can beat a Harley Davidson because it has two wheels, handlebars, brakes, a seat, is painted really cool colors, will get you from point A to point B, and it's less expensive.
There are some people who just refuse to learn. Your stubborn ignorance is so painful it must hurt when you display it so publicly. Ignorance is curable. . . but willful ignorance borders on stupidity, Mad Dawgg.
Android Samsung Galaxy S3
Smartphone And that is just one of about 100 I found on Amazon. Unlocked I can get for around 169. This one is AT&T (which is what we use because they have the best signal strength in the area,) But the have S3s for most of the other carriers in the same price range.
So again you are wrong I am right.
Thanks for playing sparky.
LOL! Thanks for proving my point once again. That's a USED three year old Android piece of junk. . . which is being sold at retail for $169. That means they bought it wholesale for half that from the user: $85.00
Here is what they are selling three year old iPhones for on Amazon, idiot.
How about FOUR YEAR OLD iPhones?
Again, using the standard used merchandise markup, they bought them from the user for half of what they are selling them for. . . that means they are paid the user about $200-225 them, more than twice what your Android was purchased from the user for! This was enough to START A NEW CONTRACT! Rinse Repeat. Even a FOUR YEAR OLD iPhone brings more wholesale than your Android JUNK does. . . However, a user can sell his iPhone retail for moresuch as the prices above, instead of selling his iPhone wholesale on trade in, and pay a good percentage of the retail price of a new iPhone. Even a four year old iPhone sold retail will pay for the downpayment on a new iPhone 6!
And you think my comment about Apple NOT designing for obsolescence was funny. . . yet all of these older phones are still in demand, commanding high prices. They are not obsolete. They will work with the Apple ecosystem. That is one of the reasons that Apple is now the only $700 Billion dollars company in the world. You cannot understand that at all because you are an idiot at understanding the LAW of demand and supply. . . and how a business can keep its customers satisfied so they keep coming back for more of the same.
You really do not understand economics at all. Nor do you understand one whit of Total Cost of Ownership. Look back at the chart I posted above that showed that owning a new iPhone was less expensive in the long run that owning Blackberries or Androids. You are pennywise and Pound foolish. Actually, you are just a fool.
As I said before, and will continue to repeat, you know the PRICE/COST of everything and the VALUE of nothing.
You keep talking about "your phone". I found a photo of you using your phone:
For you, everything devolves to the bottom line. . . face it, you, like all Android users are cheapskates.
Heaven help you if anyone ever told you about the future value of money. You'd starve to death.
There are always those who will shoot themselves in the foot no matter how obvious that it ‘so not in their own best interests not to.
As in another subject area ... there are always atheists who will shoot themselves in the foot, too ... even when God makes himself obvious to them.
No matter what one does, there will always be people around working against themselves.
Another one that pops into my mind ... in the area of politics ... is that political operatives say that you ignore dealing with the 20% of the people on either extreme edge of an issue. If they are the 20% on your side, you’re wasting your time talking to them because they already agree with you. If you talk to the 20% on the other extreme, you’r wasting your time because they’ll never agree with you.
You want to talk to the 60% between those two extremes, because you can get them to agree with you.
AND ... if you get 66% of the entire pie to be on your side, that’s considered to be the really golden number as that’s unbeatable.
It’s difficult for people to show admiration for junk, so that’ to be expected with the Anroid crowd ... :-) ...
The reason why Apple is so successful is that they are staying up with technology advancing ... and not just to give some or any advanced technology ... but for stuff that has been thought out and works well for the consumer. So it’s ALSO the useful application for the advancing technology.
The FReepers here are not in that category. It sounds like your target audience is actually over in Democratic Underground ... :-) ...
I buy because of the quality of the product and how well it works. The profits of the company shows that others are in line with my own thinking ... :-) ...
You got that right. With so much JUNK on the market it’s extremely COOL when something is quality and works very well. I really like that!
Right on!
Good for you! Glad to hear it. And ... I’m buying a lot of those apps, too. On my iPad, I’ve got over 350 apps ... :-) ...
There’s no question about it, these Apple-haters do wallow in their hatred.
It would seem that the real amusement here is that you’re reveling in your mental disease, more than anything else.
“Apple-hater” is more descriptive ...
Another Apple-hater ...
I wonder who maintains their Apple-hater ping list ...
You’re a SHIZOPHRENIC Apple-hater ...
