This article has the clearest picture I've seen yet of the moment of impact. It's quite haunting as you can clearly see the woman in the white car reacting to the collision, only seconds away from her death.

Meanwhile, Bruce Jenner seems totally oblivious. It's difficult to ascertain whether he is holding a cellphone but clearly he is distracted and has no idea what is happening. He didn't even appear to have slowed down. He struck the women's car with the left driver's side of his vehicle and sent her careening into head-on traffic - and to her very sudden and violent death.

If the police were able to recover Jenner's phone device and be able to correlate any texting activity to the time of the impact, then we are looking at a solid case of vehicular homicide here. Similar to if he was driving drunk.

Police originally said Jenner was in fact braking, and that the white Lexus slowed or stopped. Does this stretch of the Pacific Coast Highway have street-type intersections as opposed to being a freeway?

Sure does look like he’s looking at a phone, as do other photos.

Maybe after Jenner hit her, in a panic she accidentally pushed on the accelerator rather than the brake.

You can see from the photo he wasn't texting. He was, however, being chased by paparazzi.

Bruce is one weird SOB, but this accident was created by the paparazzi.

The paparazzi arranged the traffic slow-down that caused the rear-end collision so they could take photos. That's how they have real-time photos of the crash. They had a photographer posted at that exact spot.

Some of them should get jail time for this.

Ask yourself how a paparazzi just happened to be stationed at that exact spot to get those photos.

Then ask yourself why the car that slowed down to cause the accident slowed down, and ask yourself who might have been driving it.

I would think that, even without recovering the phone, his provider's records could indicate whether or not any texts were being sent at the time.

I don’t see any brake marks across the white lettering on the ground under Jenner’s car, it does not look like he is braking. So much for making any money from his sex change operation, her family (or at least her family’s lawyers) will be collecting all that money, and likely a whole lot more.

Yesterday I saw an article with a whole sequence of pictures. The sequence started before there was even contact and it definitely appeared to me by the way his hands were positioned that he was on a cell phone.

Side note. Bruce Jenner was in my home in San Jose, CA not many years after winning the Olympics trying to sell some kind of Gym equipment. His first marriage was to someone my husband and I knew very well. Chrystal Crownover. What a mess he has become.

TMZ is now reporting that he was smoking a cigarette, not texting. Also they are saying there was another car in front of the woman’s and that car may have stopped short triggering the collisions. I just still don’t understand how this poor woman was killed, although the front of the car was totally destroyed it seems the main part is still basically intact, and the air bags deployed so I’m very surprised she was killed.

She was quite elderly, in her seventies, maybe that contributed? There were also a lot of children involved, one in the woman’s car and I think 5 in the humvee including a three month old infant.

Pretty scary the whole situation.

Looks like he drifted over to her lane. hit in a precise angle to her right rear. to catapult her in front of an oncoming Humvee.
Everything points to not having the eyes on the road at that time.
