Model Ashley Graham has become the first plus size model to ever feature in an issue of Sports Illustrated magazine. The 26-year-old model, who was raised in Lincoln, Nebraska, features in a beautiful new campaign for swimwear brand swimsuitsforall, which was today unveiled as the first ever plus size ad to have been selected to grace the pages of the publication's iconic Swimsuit Issue. 'I know my curves are sexy and I want everyone else to know that theirs are too,' the size 16 fashion star said of her ground-breaking campaign.

put Hillary!, Rosie ODonnell or Barbara Mikulski in a bikini on the cover, or Michael Moore in a speedo on the cover
Now that would be just plain nasty!

What the Hell is wrong with our society when this is considered "plus size?" Look at her thigh. She has cellulite.

She looks a bit heavy now.
But if you get a young lady at that weight at 20 years old you can imagine the kind of trouble she’ll be in at 50.
To: Opinionated Blowhard
Basically, shes a good looking woman with a little extra weight. There isnt much risk in putting her on the cover. The problem with mildly-overweight young women: they look OK in their 20's, but the extra weight does not look good after they pass 30.

Well, ain’t nothing wrong with her...now.
How old is she? 25? So what’s she gonna look like in 20 years after 3 kids? Young girls should not be that heavy. Cause sooner or later they aren’t gonna be young girls anymore.

Coupla geniuses weighing in, so to speak.
To: rarestia
Nice skin, nice features, a few extra pounds. I prefer petites, but I think she looks great.

SO far I find no problems here, but you would do well to provide much more evidence; just to be sure of course.

She looks like someone who might actually get in the water and swim and she's in a bathing suit that would survive being in the ocean.. She's proportional. It's good to see a heavy set girl in a bikini instead of being embarrassed by a few extra pounds.

Not sure what you mean. She is overweight. Rather than “plus” a simpler way to put it is to just say she is fat. Of course we live in a fat society.
To: Responsibility2nd
Looks like she may have a bunion developing there...DO NOT WANT! /s

What kills me is when 300 lb. women call their fat rolls "curves."
Quite possibly the "Quote of the day!"
To most men, when the word "curves" is used to describe a woman, we are thinking, "A little extra weight, bosom and hips separated with a large yet typically hourglass shaped frame."
Very, VERY few men think "bulbous, over-flowing, rolls of fat which obliterate the natural flow of the body, turning it into a conical semblance of a pile of crap" when someone describes a woman as "curvy."
