The media made sure that every single photo they took of Speaker Boehner at this event was of him crying. Doesn't he understand this will be used against him. I have cried at a few events in my life, but I know how to stifle when necessary.

Wrong - they are NOT the forerunners of the Navy SEALS. They are the forerunners of the Army Rangers and Special Forces.

Okay. The author of the piece probably couldn’t explain the difference between the two if his life depended on it.
The only thing that got me was the medias focus on Boehner during the event.

I watched a show about them clearing some mountaintops during a 2 week campaign in Northern Italy. They got the job done but took 70% casualties.
The Germans called them the Black Devils.

Great pictures of great men. It's comforting to know that we still have such men.
However, the Devil's Brigade were not the forerunners of the SEALs -- the Amphibious Scouts and Raiders and NCDUs hold that honor.

I think he cried most of the time during the ceremony, so hard not to catch him crying.

Each living honoree will be given a replica medal, with the brigade as a whole awarded the official one dedicated at the ceremony. The gold medal, which weighs 18 ounces and is 3 inches wide by .275 inches thick, depicts the soldiers from the United States and Canada scaling a mountain and rowing in a river while another helmet-clad fighter looks on.

Boehner should lay off the booze that time of day.

My favorite war movie is
Zulu. IMDB entry displays more quotes from any other movie I've come across.
My favorite:
Colour Sergeant Bourne: It's a miracle.
Lieutenant John Chard: If it's a miracle, Colour Sergeant, it's a short chamber Boxer Henry point 45 caliber miracle.
Colour Sergeant Bourne: And a bayonet, sir, with some guts behind.

Needs to be remade with proper weaponry.

Needs to be remade ...I'm 65+ y/o and I can't recall one movie remake that was equal to or better than the original.
Besides,
the cast is irreplaceable.

Then do another Devil's Brigade movie. The absence of the Johnson weaponry and the lack of hardcore battle scenes hurts the original, as does the Hollywood silliness popular in war movies of the era.

So according to you, making it more violent would make it a better movie.
Actually, that would only make it as bad (or worse) as all the other krap that's been coming out of Hollyweird the last 25-30 years.
