That's just it. It isn't that large a number considering how many unvaccinated invaders were allowed to enter the US. A much better answer than excessive vaccinations would be to keep sickly populations out of the US. As far as the vulnerability of infants, that's an inane argument. In the old days (like 30 and more years ago) responsible parents would keep their young infants out of germ-laden environments until their immune systems had time to develop. Now, some parents are bringing kids to daycare or on planes to Disneyworld etc when they're a few months old!

I would also be surprised if any measles deaths happen at all this year, if not more than single-digits. I agree on daycare, because not just measles, but all sorts of diseases such as noroviruses can spread to a child at daycare. Also, measles isn’t contagious without the outward symptoms, so if you have a rash and coughs, stay home and get better!
