Good that it was dry and sunny there today Geron.. but radar is now showing more ugly down there in the Lone Star. Looks like it’s not on top of you though - DFW is getting it.
Radar says it should be on top of you now TOL, and it’s not quite to TC’s yet. Our forecast is calling for thunderstorms for the afternoon.
It’s not as angry looking on the radar as what went through Texas yesterday but there is still some energetic looking colors there.
Might just turn out to be a ‘normal’ thunderstorm in this side of the continent. We’ve been dry here too so some rain will help.
Of course, rain will then encourage the advanced grass substitute to grow. That wouldn’t normally be a problem except for the fact that my redtractor thing with the advanced grass substitute height shortening and munching-up device ingested a part of the carburetor when last I mowed and the parts that I need to rebuild the carburetor are ‘projected’ to arrive Friday.
It will be after I install them and start it (or try to) that I will discover if ingesting two small brass screws and the bottom third of the brass throttle-plate shaft has caused any collateral damage. It would have ingested the throttle plate also except it was too big to negotiate around the valve..
If there is collateral damage to the innards of the Briggs-Stratton our advanced grass substitute lawn will devour everything in the immediate vicinity before I can cut it again. ;-)
Mower problems?
