I just re-joined FR and I would like to post to my local NC state board but I am not able to. How do I get the ability to do that?
That is such a sad thing. I hope a lawsuit is filed to help Jack’s parents with continuing medical and punitive damages.
Jack’s Dad is in the process of being diagnosed with MS. Their lives are a mess.
That is pretty decently messed up.
It’s a lot of scar tissue that will not grow and stretch as he grows. The plastic surgeon is very concerned for the missing tissue and the corner of his mouth.
Yeah, it will need a lot of expert work from the body and fender shop.
Shocking as it is on a face so young, his youth will be of benefit to the healing.
Skill, and faith.
And patience.
And some repeat visits as the kid grows...
Where have you been for the last 5k posts??
;-)
Damage report up a few posts.
Looks pretty messed up.
He advises that the cure will involve receiving ten thousand kisses of healing, including mothers, grandmothers, nurses, girl-friends, and any other appropriate magical health-care administrators.
Perhaps equally important, however, will be keeping tabulation of the score. As the only one necessarily present for the full course of treatment, Jack will have to take the responsibility to monitor the progress of this cure.
By no means does this mean that he should stoop to using guilt from his potential girlfriends in order to garner a stolen joy, but it should not be expressly prohibited either.
Remember, it is the total that needs to be reached, and it is prudent to measure one's progress toward the goal.
Yes indeed, Jack suffered greatly from this attack. He’s a
handsome boy and will be handsome again after more plastic surgery and perhaps more. FReeper prayer warriors have him in their prayers. All will be well.
But bless his heart, young Jack really went through a terrible trauma. Please reassure him for us that he is loved and cared for all over America by people praying for his full recovery.
That line of weathercrap that blew past you last night is bearing down on Tax Chick and TOL now. We expect to get it tomorrow.
The dam still holding?
Whoever built this house on this property had his ducks in a row.
We have no problem with flooding or weather of any kind. The solid
brick construction probably helps a lot, too.
I can see the storms on the radar, and they look quite nasty, but
we are in need of a bit of lawn watering at the moment, so we will
welcome the rain.
And I certainly hope and pray that Tax-chick and GeronL make it
through all this dang weather that’s making trouble for us all.
nice and warm most of the day, we sure needed it
Good that it was dry and sunny there today Geron.. but radar is now showing more ugly down there in the Lone Star. Looks like it’s not on top of you though - DFW is getting it.
Radar says it should be on top of you now TOL, and it’s not quite to TC’s yet. Our forecast is calling for thunderstorms for the afternoon.
It’s not as angry looking on the radar as what went through Texas yesterday but there is still some energetic looking colors there.
Might just turn out to be a ‘normal’ thunderstorm in this side of the continent. We’ve been dry here too so some rain will help.
Of course, rain will then encourage the advanced grass substitute to grow. That wouldn’t normally be a problem except for the fact that my redtractor thing with the advanced grass substitute height shortening and munching-up device ingested a part of the carburetor when last I mowed and the parts that I need to rebuild the carburetor are ‘projected’ to arrive Friday.
It will be after I install them and start it (or try to) that I will discover if ingesting two small brass screws and the bottom third of the brass throttle-plate shaft has caused any collateral damage. It would have ingested the throttle plate also except it was too big to negotiate around the valve..
If there is collateral damage to the innards of the Briggs-Stratton our advanced grass substitute lawn will devour everything in the immediate vicinity before I can cut it again. ;-)
I join in prayer for Jack’s complete recovery.
Matt 18:20
Prayers up for your nephew Jack.
