I just re-joined FR and I would like to post to my local NC state board but I am not able to. How do I get the ability to do that?

Ol’ Drunk Larry is being formally charged, but I don’t think it will go anywhere. Among the Libs, it’s being said that he is the one who beat up on Ol’ Harry because of the proximity of the two events.

3 counties near here are under curfew due to major flooding, their river went from 5 feet to 40 feet overnight and is not expected to crest until Monday

Two possibilities.
Update on the BB SUV. I finally got the dunner from DMV yesterday, but I quickly gathered my documents and the money order and sent them off in the afternoon mail. Their threats were HUGH and really scary!
I’ve been crying off and on today, but don’t know if it’s because of remembered Vets or the Other Thing. It’s been hard to function, anyway.
And I gained four pounds since my birthday. Alcohol is SO loaded! DANG! This week, I will let it go. I don’t want to be so heavy.
My daughter dreamed I died and wondered what she should do if I did. I told her to cremate me and split the ashes with my son. What a morbid thing to present me with this day. She has pretty much ignored me for years, and now, all of a sudden, she is concerned about it. I think she wants to keep the guilt at bay.
Either that or she wants to know who is going to get my stuff...another reason to make a Living Trust.
Do either of them answer the question, “Is this Home Depot?”

I was down near Palm Desert early this month, and actually drove up to Grogan’s Point, there, on Hwy 74. The kids loved it. The older ones have seen the movie two or three times, so they thought actually visiting a few of the filming locations was pretty cool.
The road is every bit as serpentine as it looks in the film, but we did manage to stay on the pavement; it would, indeed, be VERY bad to go sailing right out there.

Not really “uphill”. Oh just a county or two away.
“Just a county or two away” from me, is the middle of DC. They could have called that place “River City”.
Sometimes just being a foot ‘uphill’ makes a difference.. ;-)
