I just re-joined FR and I would like to post to my local NC state board but I am not able to. How do I get the ability to do that?

I have been fighting this computer most of the day, and have had to put up with darkness (inside and out) thunder that lasted almost two hours, then came back for 30 minutes, rain for 30 minutes, more darkness, and a high of only 65.
I finally added a virus hunter, but I refuse to add the updates the computer says I need to put on this thing. I had to restore it a few days ago, but I’m so fed up with it. And it doesn’t help my being close to tears.
Walmart isn’t in my itinerary for the next few days, anyway. There isn’t that much left of the birthday money so I’ll sit on it.
What a gray and dismal day this has been.

I read the first part of your tagline as “As two toads diverged...” The weather has been clouding my brain all day, I think.

Two toads diverged in the road, and I?
I could only chase one of them.
The other got away.
But the one I caught was delicious.
OK, NNB I’m not.

I just wrote a story and I am not even sure it fits any genre, lol. It’s definitely not sci-fi.

realistic?
possibly.. I didn’t mention dates but I was thinking it takes place in 2026, the only thing futuristic is MSM is all streamed online with the rest of us.
I can’t describe it without giving it away. lol. I’ll PM you.

“Futuristic” would not be “realistic.”

My mother died of cancer in 1969 on November 30.
My father left California where we were living
and went back to Massachusetts right after her
funeral. My siblings took all my parents’ things,
and my oldest creepy brother took their house.
Never saw my father again. My sister said he had
died in 1985 and was buried in Massachusetts.
I got cut loose with nothing but my car and my
clothes to fend for myself. I was 23.
So of course, I got a job from my college major,
Chemistry, and got into the electronics industry,
where I met Bryan.
And, as they say, the rest is history. ;-)

All those poems? Too many people just couldn't remember how to spell "anonymous".

I have 8 or 9 things I can throw into an ebook. Hang on, remember when I wrote about that navy where everyone was an Admiral? I need to find a copy of that! That is definitely going in there.
