I just re-joined FR and I would like to post to my local NC state board but I am not able to. How do I get the ability to do that?

This story went in directions that surprised me. I decided to back story the “bad guy” and it’s most of the story so far. lol

I hear ya. Way back as a child, taken with Cryano’s “I’ll give you three feet of tempered steel”, I tried to transform a Pinocchio figure. Needle worked for the sword but changing his shorts, well...there’s just some things a ten year old boy won’t do.

I had trimmed a pilot figure so that he was sitting.
Fill putty worked.
But then I tried to trim some extraneous stuff.
He ended up a one armed man.
I also lost skin.

I have a story short, only a few paragraphs, from the point of view of someone going toe to toe with Soames.
And Soames does something quite terrifyingly horrible, he heals the guy via nanite infection and basically makes him “experience existence as I do” before letting him go.
From that point of view, Soames is a real serious badguy.
I posted a bit of it once “Subject: Carnivore”.

Losing skin, all a part of modifying model cars to turn them into custom hot rods.

A time for scientific experiments. Learning that model spray lacquer can make a flame thrower with nasty fumes.

A time to discover that said flame thrower should NOT be pointed at the window screen at ignition. And most especially not a front window where the big black spot can be seen by dad when he drives up.

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!!

My brain isn’t functioning properly this morning. It’s up to 58 degrees and will be 84 today, they say...

Busdaddy has no mom to send a card to for the first time, and he is missing her greatly. So am I.

My daughter sent me a text at 10:00 last night, confirming that I was going to meet her for breakfast. I said I was, if she would quit texting me while I was sleeping. I sounded like an open-face crab sandwich...

Sorry about your brain. Maybe it will work better when it’s warmer! We have a similar forecast, but ours includes thunderstorms later.

Sally was a hit in the homeschool association Broadway Revue. She looked very glamorous in the floofy peach Quinceanera gown, with green velvet gloves ... not an obvious choice, but it worked. She gave the dress to one of the other girls after the show, which saved my re-donating it to The Salvation Army!

She was the envy of all the other girls because she’s allowed to color her hair ;-).
