I just re-joined FR and I would like to post to my local NC state board but I am not able to. How do I get the ability to do that?

Yes.
Sometimes you can alter the appearance of the miniature using filler putty and paint.
I did that once, but goofed up a little on my exacto work.

Or have someone who has a 3-D printer print you a bunch.

That sounds expensive, think they would take them back if I spray painted them silver?

For some holiday or special occasion or maybe just because I could, I bought Mrs. NoC some roses. Or maybe it was just one rose.
Whatever...
Anyway, Mrs. NoC took a cutting from the rose, dunked it in rooting hormone and stuck it in some dirt. And it grew.
Along the way it was chewed in half by one of the kittiebeasts who thought it was a salad of some type, and the severed half was also dunked in rooting hormone and stuck in some dirt. To protect it from ravenous kittiebeasts it (and the other chunk) has taken up residence in my area where it can be kept behind a closed door if no one is in the room. If I am in the room I protect it (and the other plants also on the shelf) from the plant-munching hordes.
The effort has been successful and the poor abused, chewed, and decapitated rose has bloomed.
Tomorrow is Mother's Day. So for you Mother's in the crowd, here's a rose that has been through a lot. You know, something like a Mother.

And Mom, Happy Mother's Day.
I'll see you when I get Home...

I remember playing at a science fiction cover design site. I can’t remember the name, but it let you formulate your own cover from stock picture elements, and post the titles and subtitles.

Would it let you actually use the image on an actual without paying royalties?

She’s asleep. But we’re planning to celebrate tomorrow. The girls and I will be taking her to see the Avengers, plus whatever they haven’t told me I’m doing.

That reminds me of a story I’ve read. (Which shouldn’t be surprising; I’ve read a lot of stories).
I have a hunch your story will go in entirely different directions, though, so I won’t even mention which title it is until I have read yours.
I’m sure you will pulverize the pulp story I remember.
