I just re-joined FR and I would like to post to my local NC state board but I am not able to. How do I get the ability to do that?

Why, I don’t know, SitG. What does a Journeyman get?
Now, if you’d said a tall-tale Journeyman I’d have guessed Paul Bunyans (Bunions).

The time frame is a bit tight. We can wait and see what happens after the epidural.

That’s not going to give me too much leeway. There are only three weeks from the epidural to the departure, and that may not be enough time to evaluate the results. And I would, no doubt, need to get a release from the doctor who does the epidural to make the trip.
I will check all this out by Monday, as I’m going to CA again on Saturday. Sunday will be the first day I can call the number provided and change the trip dates. I’m sure the flights will be the same, but the dates are in question.
The whole thing has just hit me all of a sudden and I don’t like what I’m feeling. I think the soonest the surgery can be scheduled will be August, and I don’t know what the recovery time is, but I do know that a visit in September or October may be better this time.
I have to call the appointment desk every day or so until I can get an appointment with the doctor for the surgical release. Once I get that, I can get the next soonest surgical date. I suspect it will be in-patient, rather than out-patient, like the epidurals were.
At any rate, I will try to get things in place for a visit ASAP, under the circumstances.

It sounds like rescheduling is the best option, then, and we can sort out the details in the next week or so. We want you to be safe and able to enjoy yourself!

I scared my little self when I began to think about it, and recalling that the late Igor spent the last four years of his life as a quadriplegic who couldn’t speak, I decided that even with my speech functioning properly, that’s not how I want to spend the rest of my life.
So I will do whatever is necessary to prevent the paralysis that is surely awaiting me if I ignore the things that are happening to me, now.
I think rescheduling is the best option. I will know more by Sunday.

Thanks! I don’t mind aging, but I sure don’t want to age ugly! I need to take care of me the best I can because there is no one else who wants the job!
I will keep you posted on the options when I return from CA and have the time to go over the trip information. I’m sure this is included in their program.

I haven’t baked a potato in many years, so I can’t recall if I exploded the potato in an oven or a microwave. :)

I haven’t baked a potato in 30 years, but I nuke one whenever I need that baked-potato flavor and feel!
I’ll never bake a potato again...it takes too long!

I was cooking pork chops at the same time as ten potatoes. I never cook potatoes in the microwave.
