That’s not going to give me too much leeway. There are only three weeks from the epidural to the departure, and that may not be enough time to evaluate the results. And I would, no doubt, need to get a release from the doctor who does the epidural to make the trip.
I will check all this out by Monday, as I’m going to CA again on Saturday. Sunday will be the first day I can call the number provided and change the trip dates. I’m sure the flights will be the same, but the dates are in question.
The whole thing has just hit me all of a sudden and I don’t like what I’m feeling. I think the soonest the surgery can be scheduled will be August, and I don’t know what the recovery time is, but I do know that a visit in September or October may be better this time.
I have to call the appointment desk every day or so until I can get an appointment with the doctor for the surgical release. Once I get that, I can get the next soonest surgical date. I suspect it will be in-patient, rather than out-patient, like the epidurals were.
At any rate, I will try to get things in place for a visit ASAP, under the circumstances.
It sounds like rescheduling is the best option, then, and we can sort out the details in the next week or so. We want you to be safe and able to enjoy yourself!
A potato exploded in the oven. I hate when that happens!
