I just re-joined FR and I would like to post to my local NC state board but I am not able to. How do I get the ability to do that?

I wanted to stay in bed but Sparkle thinks because it is light outside, it’s time for me to get up. She has been emptying her bowls on a regular basis, but I’m thinking if I give her more food, she will begin to put on weight. And I think 8# is heavy enough. She’s not a big kitty and never will be. I don’t want her having any health problems.

I always wait for the cat or dog or bird to tell me what their names are. THEY know who they are, but they can’t tell us.

I am kind of hoping I get a male. I’ve never had a male cat before, only females.

My brother’s wife had twins. A boy and a girl. He asked me to name them. I named the girl Denise, and the boy Denephew.

Sparkle is actually the first female cat I’ve had, and that’s just because I liked her colors. Wait. Hobbes was female, too.

I actually prefer male cats as they seem to be less “cat-ish” in their behavior. However, I wouldn’t trade Sparkle for anything. She is a unique little jewel, and I love her dearly.

Afternoon, epople. I’m leaving for the airport in half an hour to go to Florida for my father’s interment tomorrow. Should arrive there 6:30-ish Eastern, and I’ll be home tomorrow, 9:00 p.m.-ish, unless I’m stuck in Orlando all night due to Weather up the coast.

The other day I was trying to use a reference in a work about an ailing Sikh but the reference I wanted to use had a typo. The reference had the Sikh trying to get his dog to protect his home. So I had to write, “’Sic ‘em,’ said the sick Sik [sic].”

I honestly don’t think about it. I’ve been celibate for so long it’s not a need anymore.

Of course if I was to start dating again, that would be something to think about, but my last relationship pretty much destroyed any ideas I’ve had about dating.
