I heard there was a big soccer game tonight but I’m watching Lincoln kill zombies on a cheesy SyFy channel movie.

Entertaining in a Freak show kind of way.

That was a called play from the sideline.

I could not believe the Patriots luck. Wilson snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

I just don’t get it. You’ve got Marshawn Lynch, and you’ve got one timeout.
That was NOT the time to be audacious.

A good close game. At least it was not a blowout.

NFL is OK .... it's The half-time shows that are all music for the kids and bangers ... not the people that can afford 10K plus who are actually THERE
I realized tonight ...
I (in part) got involved with drum and bugle corps in 62/63 because of what used to be very cool M&M (marching and maneuvering) by bands and drum corps at football half time
Get rid of all this modern ?music? and bring back the bands ... start with The United States Marines and precisioin drill team ... wann'a feel proud ?
Bring on The Marines

These were the two teams I least wanted to see in the SB, but it was a helluva game. I’m not glad NE won so much as I’m glad Seattle lost....and in such a shocking devastating way.

In Seattle’s defense, Patriot were probably looking for Lynch that play
Everyhting else was just luck from that point
What a way to lose though...
Almost as bad a this Buffalo fan watching a last play winning kick go wide left

Seahawks led the league in rushing and you call a pass play with 3 downs at the one. Makes sense to me
Congrats to the Pats for having better game plan. That’s what it came down to.

This only the second time in my life I’ve ever watched the super bowl and I thought it was a good game. From a non-football fan, FWIW.
But what was that squabble at the end?

'Twas a fluke play that got the Hawks down in the red zone anyway.
Just an aside - if the ball carrier merely touching his knee down gets a play called dead how can a guy laying flat on his back be capable of making a freak catch and advancing a ball like that?
I know they's the rules but it doesn't seem consistent.

Unreal. The call to pass on the one yard line ranks up there with Leon Lett’s fumble.

With less than a minute to go also...it made no sense. Even if he scores he gives Brady time to maybe tie the game...rather than pounding the ball in(or not)with with no time left.
They'll be talking about that one for a loooong time.
