They cancelled Hannity tonight for some dude that looks like a queen bee to tell me it's gonna snow in the northeast.
Now they are saying that the tremendous wind is up to around 12mph which is making 27F feel like 12F... but the worst is still yet to come. A lot of people are using this opportunity to go out and snap some “really cool” pictures.
I cannot believe the moron media of this country has gone wall to wall and put reporters out in the field as if this is a hurricane...
I mean FFS, this sh!t is ridiculous!
24 hour news channels, including most especially Fox “News”, are trash.
I expect Providence and Narragansett to get a good storm.
Your post intrigued me enough to briefly watch that commie channel. They're so desperate to make something out of nothing and are now working themselves into a lather over the temperatures as the "cam before the storm". They're really circling the grain as they grasp for anything to pimp about a routine weather occurrence. MSNBC is in league with the Weather Channel, a marxist outfit that hypes the lie of global warming. Even the prancing fairy Shep Smith seems almost rational compared to the maniacs on MSNBC and their Weather Channel fellow travelers.
And the biggest idiot of them all is red diaper doper baby, Billy De Blasio. His hope was to suspend the Constitution due to a massive snow event...and it never happened.
“Now they are saying that the tremendous wind is up to around 12mph which is making 27F feel like 12F..”

They’ve got to earn those obscene salaries.
Pathetic.
.
Back to CNN. I am starting to suspect at least some of what appears to be snow on the reporters is actually fake snow. There is almost no snow that can be seen falling in the video feed... there is basically no snow on the sidewalks around them... yet the reporters have snow flakes on them. I guess it must be a really cold 29F there.
In Connecticut they say that the snow is coming down at about 4 inches per hour, but somehow there is only about an inch on the ground. I guess this storm started just 15 minutes ago in Connecticut.
I've got to admit that I'm laughing out loud at the MSNBC coverage. Tonight they are earning their inflated salaries for the sheer comedic content. They're as serious as can be about a non-event and their endless pimping of a big fat nothing is absolutely hilarious. If they weren't so dangerous, liberals are downright funny. Funny in their utter cluelessness.
It appears that FOX has mostly scrubbed the coverage of the “blizzard” at this point and gone back to their normal pre-recorded shows. If you want to laugh at the breathless coverage you currently have got to go to sources you would normally not consider watching.
I would think so also... it just hasn't got there yet... the worst is yet to come!
I love the locomotive picture! At first I was truly concerned about the storm because we have some relatives who are back east for a military event. Now it has turned into a big non-event and as you say CNN and MSNBC are absolutely comedic.
YUP; I think it was about 2 years we got enough snow out of one storm to crush my barn flat. Had the power out for about 2 or 3 weeks all over Trinity county, not every where, but my lines were down from early December to January.
Good thing I had my own generator and a wood burning stove, still haven’t been able to afford to replace the barn.
I gots a meeel-yun of 'em. Enjoy!
Ok the CNN gal just had to chase some guys off who were trying to have a snow ball fight behind her by scraping up the little bit of snow they could get off the sidewalk with no gloves or hats.
Live from New York, the “BlizzardMobile” reports that the snow is falling almost as fast as it was a few hours ago. But the fresh snow is reducing the slushiness on the road.
We live close to the foothills. The has wind knocked our power out half a dozen times in the last two months. I am very happy that the price of gas has gone down. Some years we have spent a lot on gas. We are usually the first to go out and the last to be reconnected. I have a good set-up though; it takes only a couple of minutes to run out and start the generator up and get everything going again. We have gas heat.
My parents lost their biggest barn about ten years ago. They got about of foot of wet snow on it and some wind gusts ended up hitting it just right and blowing it over. Fortunately, they were just using it for storage and no animals or people were injured.
It finally is looking a little windy on Long Island the CNN information ribbon showed it was just gusting up to 25mph.
Keep the great pictures coming! I love them.
Lets get some eggs
Shep is back on and he says its going to really crank up sometime in the next few hours! It is going to be bad! Bad Bad! Of course Megyn Kelly said that she is still planning on making it into work in the morning.
