Until this results in a game forfeit, no one cares.

OK, for the Superbowl, force Tom Brady to play with only 1 arm.

Sports Center tweeted just after 11 p.m. that the New England Patriots let air out of 11 of 12 game balls on Sunday. That seems to be a bold statement.
I mean, it could be true. But they just leapt from "we found something" all the way over to "we know who did this". That might be called libel, unless you can absolutely prove it.

I loved the New York Post headline this morning (Tuesday): NFL SQUEEZES PATRIOTS' BALLS.

There were not immediately details on what punishment the Patriots could face.

I freekin hate Brady, can’t stand the idea that we lost to that ass again. Sounds like they cheated, but that sure as hell doesn’t account for that spread. The Colts blew that game, not flat footballs.

The Seahawks will certainly find this interesting.
We don’t want to be the victims of cheating.
Again.

Corruption and zero ethics have become a way of life and too commonplace. Those that pull it off are rarely prosecuted or held accountable, and so they will do it again.
No one in power wants to disrupt the establishment even if it is crooked. This will be covered up because if true it will taint the Super Bowl and all those advertising dollars.

Sports is entertainment and an escape from all the troubles in life and work. We see enough unfair cheating in life and in politics and the government. NOW comes New England Patriots with their blatant cheating, and their quarterback, and other Pat. players laughing about it. Enough is enough.

What psi level is the NFL standard? What psi level were the tested balls at? Was it only New England that had the altered balls to use? What are the balls filled with? Air? Nitrogen? Something else? Did the kickers have different inflation levels?
Typical American fact free news coverage.

I have despised the Patriots ever since Spygate. IMHO, they shoulda forfeited and be credited with going 15-1 [17-2 overall] instead of 16-0 [18-1 overall] that season.
Now this - I don’t care if they were the better team [they were]. The fact is that they cheated [apparently].
They should be made to forfeit the game [but, it won’t happen].
I hate the Seahawks, but I have to root for them in the Super Bowl because I cannot [and will NEVER] root for the Patriots.

If this is true, then Belichek (sp ?) should suffer the same penalty that Sean Payton got—1 year suspension and loss of salary for that year. The Pat coach has a history of cheating and he should not be allowed to plead ignorance.
The home team provides the personnel on the sidelines that handle the balls during the game. This seems ludicrous to me that with all its wealth, the NFL is not responsible for total custody of all the balls used in every game. This means prior to the game, during the game, and after the game. They should never be allowed out of the sight of NFL personnel.

Makes a difference IF, again IF, pre-tested on a large frame receiver such as Bronkowski.
