I was looking forward to the Atlas Shrugged movie as I enjoyed the first two (the first more than the second).
Anybody else seen it and does it have anything to recommend itself?
My 23 yo son saw American Sniper this weekend with his GF....she knew very little of the story but went anyway. My son told me he bawled like Boehner and the entire theatre was right there with him. He said it was an “experience” he would not soon forget. He said the story was the star, not so much the actors...that is when you know as an actor you have done a good job.
Haven’t seen the movie yet, but I always thought of Bradley Cooper as a good, but not great comedic actor. Looks like I was wrong.
Wait, where’s Selma? Shouldn’t it be in the top ten? More proof that Hollywood is racist. /sarc
Maybe it was that with “transformers” we knew what we were getting. I didn’t think it was all bad. With “snowpiercer” I gagged on the stereotypical characters that were so poorly developed and executed along with a plot unworthy of the toilet paper and crayola crayon with which it was created.
But you’re right, we can’t take either seriously. I’m just glad I didn’t pay for either in the theater.
I’m glad that he ad ‘Chef’ on the list. Got it from Netflicks last week and it was the bet movie I’ve seen in ages. I really enjoyed it and highly recommend it.

I saw TWO of those movies. I have never even heard of Chef, Magic in the Moonlight, Locke, or Big Eyes.
THE IMITATION GAME reminds me of the film ENIGMA...It came out in 2002. I would like to watch THE IMITATION GAME eventually...
Michael Medved just announced he has stage 3 throat cancer, rasped his way through the show, will get treatment and expects to be back by the end of February. Not that long. He will have guest hosts.
