I’m referring to the movies, music, art, clothes and such.

I was a kid during the 1970’s and I recall a real sense of depression prevailing throughout where I lived.

Carter was a boob, for the first time I know of this country was not feared and people had no faith in America.

Made me think of the movie about a high school football team where the new kid from California had long blond hair and was called “sunshine.”

At the dorm I was often enlisted to ‘trim hair’ with a single edge razorblade laid against a comb. Works like a charm, for certain hair styles.

I remember wearing studs in my denim jackets and platform shoes. Led Zep and the Rolling Stones playing the big arenas. Long gas lines in ‘74. Cigarettes at 1.35 a pack.
