John Fox is leaving the the Denver Broncos after four seasons as head coach. Fox is coming off a 12-4 season during which the Broncos earned the AFC's No. 2 seed, but a loss to Indianapolis Colts in the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs was apparently the death knell for a coach many perceived was underachieving with a roster built to win a Super Bowl. The two sides "mutually agreed to part ways," according to Adam Schefter.

Look to Frisco for the Chiefs next quarterback.
The Chiefs LOVE Niner's Quarterbacks :P

Keep the 'nationwide is on my side' jingle in your head for the following:
Man I'm getting way too old..
so much for the Superbowl..
Depth perceptions out of line
Over throw it every time....
YMMV.... ;)

I think Manning wants to come back, but didn’t want Fox there.

NFL Media's Jeff Darlington reported Monday that Elway spoke to his entire coaching staff -- including Gase and defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio -- to inform them they have the permission to look elsewhere despite being under contract. Elway said the next head coach will have the power to pick his own staff. The possibility of a total housecleaning is very real.
With John Fox out, what's next for Denver Broncos?

I think Manning’s clock has run out. Injured, yes, but yesterday he just looked old. I wonderd when it would happen and it has. Now if only Tom Brady would get old next week...

They are getting heaps of karma from the way they treated Tebow.

Further, actually. Manning did make it to a Super Bowl in an orange-and-blue jersey, although to be fair the Broncos stunk out loud in that game.

While Manning is one of my favorite QB’s in the game and has earned all the accolades he has received, it appears that Father Time has caught up with him.

It would take a zombie apocolypse eating every other quarterback available to get Tebow back to Denver. I thought at the time they should have kept him as a backup, but that ship has sailed.

Well, aside from Steve Young anyway.

Manning has lost 9 first Playoff Games. 5 with a first round bye.

The Colts need to have a “franchise best game ever”. Reggie Wayne is another one who is probably done or very close to it.

Actually given its QB, the Broncos are a a team built to lose early in the playoffs.

Reggie knows it. He’s gone throught this season as his farewell tour without publicly saying so. He’s winding it down with a lot of class.
