The spay and neuter clinic just called and told us one of our kitties we took in this morning died. Would you please find it in your hearts to send up a little prayer for Cuddles. She was such a sweet little thing.

(my cat started having seizures after her spaying -
she was never right again, and had some kind of brain damage).
I take it that Cuddles was a young cat.
I had to euthanize a 3 year old cat who got hit by a car a few years ago. She was so sweet and cute. The guilt I felt took a good while to subside.
In your case you were trying to be a good owner and now you have a dead pet. In your case I think I’d feel angrier than sad.

Wow. What a horrendous option. I also couldn’t go much above my regular vet fee of 100, OTOH low cost services should be reserved for the truly needy and stray or feral kitties. Poor babies :( If it looks like a situation of gross negligence or rude treatment that deserves further investigation you could also contact Animal Control or the Vet Med Board. If they have a procedure for dealing with these cases, someone needs to be held accountable. Most vets will tell you they have never seen a case of spay/neuter death.
RIP sweet Cuddles until you meet to your lovely mommie again.

So sorry to hear about your kitty. My brother has been my vet for the last 40 years but late last year he retired and sold his clinic. His vet services were never free but much cheaper than the ones I use now. I always knew he was giving my pets the best care possible. I hope you can find a new vet (and a new kitty) soon.
Always, always, trust your heart.... it will not let you down.... just listen to it. I am so Sorry for your loss. Many blessings of love & light sent your way.

A good book that helped us through the loss of our kitties: “Cold Noses At The Pearly Gates”. We’re hopeful to see them again.
I've lost three precious babies due to old age illnesses within the last few years. It's so hard to adjust without them.
We have one "elder" girl left from that group (along with three young 'uns now). She's a trooper at 15 and still acts like a kitten on occasion. Can't even think about not having her around!

My 2 boys I raised from 1 day old will be 6 months old in a week. I am inclijed to not get them cut.

My mom lost her dog in 2011 after she took her to be fixed and she ripped her stitches out and bled to death at the vets.
She didn’t get the dog back, even had to pay for the surgery and for them to take care of the remains.

Her death was the first of four in a 2 week span. My Golden girl was 2nd, followed by the mutt and then the Rat terror. All 3 victims of 1 serving of contaminated food from china.
So sorry about your loss. It’s always tougher when our pets die before their time.
