I'm glad the ratings slipped with Lambert as a guest judge, because I don't want to encourage them having him on the show, but it's not until we get to the third paragraph that we read this:
Last night’s Idol was the highest-rated show of the night and the second most watched after the 12.06 million who tuned in for a The Big Bang Theory (2.5/8) repeat. Overall, Fox won the night in adults 18-49 and total viewers with 10.36 million.

We aren’t in Kansas any more. Better singers this year and Keith and Harry are pretty funny. Jen cowers a lot when the guys are getting rambunctious.
