This UCLA Professor Called Racist For The Horrible Thing He Did To A Black Student
Federalist Papers Org ^

A UCLA professor was called racist, and guilty of a “micro-aggression” against black students for correcting grammar and spelling issues on their papers. A protest was organized and students claim the professor has created a hostile climate on campus for his actions.

Downtrend reports:

I thought the race debate reached a new low when Gummy Bear maker Haribo was accused of racism for making African mask Gummies, but what happened at UCLA this week makes that look sane. 25 University of California Los Angeles students participated in a sit-in protest because, get this, one of their professors had the gall to correct grammar and spelling issues on some black students’ papers.

That’s fine. Let’s give them all the rope they need. They’re simply ostracizing themselves. After we completely cede the United States to Asians, messycans and ragheads, the bruthas aren’t going to find a seat when the music stops.

Good Lord, can you imagine the crime, lawlessness and chaos on the left side? Not to mention the cities being ghetto and full of drugs and trash?

The right side would be full of hard working, law abiding people that went to church on Sunday and kept their cities clean.

I’d love to see that.

“””Spelling and grammar issues today are signs of either laziness or indifference””””

I have just recently taken up texting as a means to convey a very short point or make a short statement without having to take up mine or my recipient’s time with a lengthy phone conversation.
But I will not carry on a long or meaningful conversation over text NOR WILL I respond to ‘textspeak’ which is lazy often illegible typing. I respond by stating that the person is going to have to speak English. ‘Textspeak’ as they call it, is childish and lazy.

In a financial collapse / SHTF scenario, on a national scale, the number of dead would far exceed 8 million. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere near a major city.

If having educational standards is racist, why is money being poured into failing minority schools in an effort to boost student performance?

The right side would be full of hard working, law abiding people that went to church on Sunday and kept their cities clean.

And they'd better have a really good fence and good border patrol. Because the riffraff from the left side will soon be sneaking in, with their hands out. And no doubt there will be just enough muddleheaded bleeding hearts on the right side to say, "Oh, it would be mean and selfish not to let them in! I've got some yard work I need done, and you know, we could really use some vibrant diversity around here." Then before you know it, we're right back where we started.

“...force some shmuck into giving them an AA job...Or government job...”

Most government jobs are AA jobs. The post office, DMV, DHS and other government agencies are nothing more than government job programs intended solely for minorities that are unqualified and incapable of holding a job in the private sector.

I agree, just didn’t want to insult the few fine freepers who may have possibly worked for the government at some point, and earned their pay (though not by torturing private citizens with red tape).

Those classes are horrible because they wrack up debt for unqualified students

It is the students themselves who rack up debt. No need to worry about them though. Obama will issue an executive order in the next two years absolving all student loans.

I hope not; I’ve been hearing that for years now, and it hasn’t happened. If Obama wasn’t going to forgive the debts to get re-elected (in what was a close race), I don’t see why (or how) he would now.

Right now there are a few programs to forgive at least a portion of student loan debt. Teachers, nurses, med techs, law enforcement officers, military and early intervention workers can get their Perkins loans reduced or eliminated. It’s the foot in the door.

I’m not familiar with that.

Maybe the Dems are saving it (broader student loan forgiveness) for a 2016 campaign issue...

I had heard of some loan forgiveness programs so I googled it.

https://studentaid.ed.gov/repay-loans/forgiveness-cancellation#unpaid-refund

Just going over a couple of links quickly it appears there are a number of different student loan programs and some of them have forgiveness provisions.

I think the amazing thing here is that a Professor knows how to correct grammar. I thought that was bred out of the system long ago.................

Some humorous truth from Mark twain this morning:

You may say a cat uses good grammar. Well, a cat does — but you let a cat get excited once; you let a cat get to pulling fur with another cat on a shed, nights, and you’ll hear grammar that will give you the lockjaw. Ignorant people think it’s the noise which fighting cats make that is so aggravating, but it ain’t so; it’s the sickening grammar they use.

http://grammar.ccc.commnet.edu/grammar/twain.htm

For example, in Year 1 that useless letter “c” would be dropped to be replased either by “k” or “s”, and likewise “x” would no longer be part of the alphabet.

The only kase in which “c” would be retained would be the “ch” formation, which will be dealt with later.

Year 2 might reform “w” spelling, so that “which” and “one” would take the same konsonant, wile Year 3 might well abolish “y” replasing it with “i” and iear 4 might fiks the “g/j” anomali wonse and for all.

Jenerally, then, the improvement would kontinue iear bai iear with iear 5 doing awai with useless double konsonants, and iears 6-12 or so modifaiing vowlz and the rimeining voist and unvoist konsonants.

Bai iear 15 or sou, it wud fainali bi posibl tu meik ius ov thi ridandant letez “c”, “y” and “x” — bai now jast a memori in the maindz ov ould doderez — tu riplais “ch”, “sh”, and “th” rispektivli.

There is a thread on a man who fired so many warning shots that the burglar found in the man’s home got away ... after asking the man if he would shoot someone over a burglary! Oddly, the man doing the ‘warning shots’ is a security guard ... and probably now he is being profiled by thieves who want to make a visit to the gibmedat stores this ‘guard’ guards, knowing he will not shoot them for burglary! Let’s hope this poor soul lives through the next visit he gets ...
