Right now there are a few programs to forgive at least a portion of student loan debt. Teachers, nurses, med techs, law enforcement officers, military and early intervention workers can get their Perkins loans reduced or eliminated. It’s the foot in the door.
I’m not familiar with that.
Maybe the Dems are saving it (broader student loan forgiveness) for a 2016 campaign issue...
