Hey Bender Rose bowl game going start ORegon vs FLA state
Call it on ESPN
Let’s hear it for the SEC....
THUD.
But still think TCU would have romped and stomped.
LOL at Bender. I hate Baylor. They are bunch of pussies who play a joke non-conference schedule. Play an actual opponent outside of the Big 12 = 10 and I might actually like you. THIS IS SPARTA!
Saturday’s Match up
ARI at CAR (-6.5 O/U 37.5) 4:35 EST ESPN TV - Weather: Wet conditions with patchy fog, around 50 degrees, possibility of rain.
BAL at PIT (-3 O/U 44) 8:15 EST NBC TV - Weather: Cold and wet conditions at kick off, temperatures rising steadily from lower 40s to upper 40s.
Egads...that was G. Landry, wasn’t it. That 1970 front line was a seive in pass protection. Thank goodness they had 2 all-pro running backs...Altie Taylor and Mel Farr.
first game up!
So, they said the Cardinals are the first Superbowl hosts to make the playoffs.
Interesting.
Is it true that the Chiefs went the whole season without a TD pass to a WR?
Yeah the SB has never been a “home game” for any team.
Folks here in Indy were hopeful for XLVI but that was the year Manning got hurt and they went for the “suck for Luck” draft plan using Curtis Painter at the controls.
I was there in January 1968.
On a mission.
And probably not the first (or last) drunk fratboy to discover that the bolts holding those signs were arc welded in place.
1st and goal Cardinals as the 2nd quarter starts.
This is playing like a pre-season game
They got the TD. CAR FG try no good, remains 10-7.
The @#%# @&*% refs cheatin us AGAIN
WE aint playin well but #%@& , call this @#%&+^ game fair
@#%&
BTW today would be my later Father, George Bedford Lee, birthday and he would be 95-years old.
Don't have a lot of photos of him but here are few:
Shot taken in Boston in 1942... just before he shipped out for England.
In Scotland outside the civilian quarters... where he was billited... 1942
Not really sure if this is my Dad but it sure looks like him... in the airborne drop into Southern France, 1944
When I was 2-years old... and we lived in Marlin, Texas. 1949
At my 3rd birthday party... at the Old Mexican Inn in Corsicana, Texas, August 26, 1950.
When we lived in Nashville, Tennessee... on Hurdwood Drive. 1956.
Nightclubbing in Juárez, Mexico... when Dad was building all those missile pads on the White Sands Missile Range north of El Paso. 1959
In Gunnison, Colorado... when Dad was Project Manager on the Blue Mesa Dam. 1963
Dad finally started his own company... in 1966. He only lived 5 years longer--
Happy Birthday Dad!
Hey, you lived in Nashville ?
Here’s Hurdwood Drive today, can you spot your old house ?
My dear old pappy is 92. Not long from joining your dear old pappy in paradise. A land free from liberals.
Neither team looks like they belong in a playoff game
