That’s because he believed in himself and cared very little for those around him.

He could throw the perfect pass but if the receiver didn’t catch it and/or didn’t score a TD from said perfect pass, well...Jeff couldn’t be accountable for that failure. He expected EVERY pass to be a touchdown. When that didn’t happen, he verbally destroyed his co-workers.

You see, Jeff was the greatest QB to play in the NFL...just ask him, he will tell you.

Yes Jeff George was a prick. He ruined a perfect situation for him in Minnesota. They had Carter and Moss. He was actually friends with Moss but he butted heads with Dennis Green.

Jeff George was a great passer, but unlike better known great passers such as Elway and Montana he didn’t know how to handle a receiver dropping a “perfect pass”.
