Miele is the best. I have the top of the line and it is frankly worth the money. I went through all the orecks and the don’t-suck-enough Dysons. As long as this one lasts 10 years it will have been cheaper than all the losers. It’s 3 now.

The husband and I finally decided about 10 years ago that we did not want to get each other gifts. He gets me flowers — or a plant (I prefer the flowers) — on my birthday, but that is usually it. I don’t want or need any more stuff. Really.
Talk to your wife about it. Perhaps you guys can agree on this, too.

Great, I already sent my female friend a battery charger and rechargeable batteries a couple of weeks ago for the flashlights and emergency lights that I send her as gifts, and last week I sent her an alarm that sits on the floor in front of the door, like a door stop.
I think they seem very thoughtful and useful at the same time, but this video is making me have doubts.
