Look into Biotin. Both my beautician and doctor confirmed its use to regrow/strengthen hair and nails.

Oh brother. Of course it is an autoimmune disorder. Look up Alopecia Areata. My son lost 3/4 of his hair at 15. After 3 months under Chinese medicine, in China, he had 99% of it back. They have known this for decades if not centuries. According to his doctors over there, it was an imbalance between kidneys and liver. Tough to argue with success.
Oh the irony. I have a full head of unruly hair but shave it bald every 4 or 5 days. People my own age are spending billions on hair growth remedies. Half the world wants hair, the other half wants it to go away.
