The American economy grew last quarter at its fastest rate in more than a decade, providing the strongest evidence to date that the recovery is finally gaining sustained power more than five years after it began.
Bolstered by robust spending among consumers and businesses alike, economic output rose at an annual rate of 5 percent during the summer months, the Commerce Department said Tuesday, a sharp revision from its earlier estimate of 3.9 percent. The advance followed a second quarter where growth reached a rate of 4.6 percent after a decline last winter that was exacerbated by particularly harsh weather.

I concur. The economy is NOT growing and is NOT creating any net jobs. In fact, we’ve been LOSING jobs every month since OZero took over. And it makes sense. Who creates jobs under communist rule except the government? Unfortunately for the Marxists in charge, they can’t hire people as fast as private industry can fire them.
We have been in a deep recession for six years.

I suspect cooked books, ie counting bozoCare as ‘economic activity”.
JUST POSSIBLY people have spent a tiny bit more (those who will always spend every dime they take home) on things other than gasoline. So there is possibly a mirage of people shaking lose with more money to the economy. But other than that, I am not buying it.

I have a business background - from an officer in a $400M corp to my own business - so I pay very close attention to the business “news”.
Slick Willie changed the definition of Unemployment and Comrade obamatollah is just flat out making up the “facts” while “printing” $5 TRILLION of new money.
I gotta think it all comes crashing down as soon as a GOP President is elected to make obamatollah more messianic.
