The San Francisco 49ers will reportedly fire head coach Jim Harbaugh "within two days" of the end of the team's season, Jay Glazer of Fox Sports reports.
Harbaugh has one year remaining on the five-year, $25 million deal he signed in 2011.

I’m still peeved that I turned that game off Saturday. I guess I should have checked back in.
It all fell apart - just that fast.
As a Cowboys fan, I don’t pay attention to SF, but he seemed to be a pretty good coach. What’s their beef?
i still love Jim Harbaugh, and i do not see him as the problem... however, i understand that he cannot work for the Niner organization... but there are going to be some rough years ahead for my team... just damn... :(
I’m guessing blowing a 21-0 lead at home on national TV was the last straw.
Given his performance this season, one problem I can see is that Harbaugh backed the wrong horse in Colin Kaepernick.
I’d like to see Harbaugh in Buffalo.
The Bills coach is on very thin ice and Harbaugh would be a good choice
Harbaugh and the 49ers GM do not get along. It seems the owners, the Yorks, are on the GM’s side. I think Niners will regret this.
Problem is Bills have no QB. Wasted first rounder on Manuel.
The NINERS gave that game away. It was clearly theirs to lose, and they did not disappoint. I dunno if getting rid of harbaugh is going to do any good. I’ve been saying for some time that, after his first season, Kap’s gotten much too big for his britches and needs to be brought down a few notches.
Harbaugh can go just about anywhere he chooses. He’s in the money.
Harbaugh is a top three coach in this league, IMO. Top five at least. The 49ers are stupid, unless they pull a rabbit out of a hat and grab another superstar coach.
They had a decade of failure, and he turned it around on a dime.
University of Michigan offered him 49 Million!
Probably finishing third in the NFC West.
...but for 6Y/$49M...???
...take the money and run!
Bills coach on thin ice? Yes, they should have beaten Oakland, but were on the verge of playoffs for the first time since 1999. Why the thin ice?
I have a lot of respect for what DeBartolo Sr. accomplished (and his work ethic), but his son and Carmen Policy are essentially mobsters. I always thought that it would be scary to work for them, and maybe it's not surprising that they command such loyalty. It's "unhealthy" not to be loyal.
The root problem is Humperdinck and that stupid "bad boy" ball cap he insists on wearing....he apparently has no idea how foolish it makes him appear.
The Jets will be looking for a coach too.
