Why does this need to be a made for TV special? I could care less about his wedding. Heck, I don’t care about any hetero celebrity couple’s wedding.

Because television and entertainment media are run by, and provide jobs to, immoral and depraved people who cannot be creative unless it attacks common sense and decency. This is what they do, and will continue to do until such time as the money stops flowing. And that's not going to happen until the people themselves stop consuming it.

They have been trying like heck for a very long time to make us care. I used to watch the TV program "Scandal" because in the first season, it was entertaining. But as I have watched the push of immorality has become more forceful, or I have become more observant in what Shonda Rimes is trying to do with her TV shows. The gay character pushed his spouse into a romantic tryst with the female VPs gay husband. Now that same character is consorting with a gay male escort. I quit watching this season after episode 2. Couldn't stomach the gay sex much less than the hetero sex. I don't watch TV to see folks having sex. But apparently a whole lot of people do.
