I was just thinking I'm actually going to miss Craig Ferguson on late night TV, and I stumbled on this clip. Craig's a bit of a lib but it's clear he's proud to be an American. We'll miss you, ya wee scunner!

Ferguson was a hoot on the “Drew Carey Show” as his boss.

A good guy. Another British import we can like as opposed to Piers Morgan (who is still around somewhere associated with the UK Mail Newspaper (which has a nice anti-American slant to it).

We used to watch Ferguson's late night show until he went into ultra liberal Hollywood scripts with all his comments. Was that just a put on or is he the type of new citizen that praises America's goodness and strength like the Golf Channel's David Feherty?

We used to watch Ferguson's late night show until he went into ultra liberal Hollywood scripts with all his comments.

Yes, he is very funny -- but when he started going off on Sarah Palin - without cause (just that she was a conservative and liberals hate conservative women that wander off their plantation) - I decided he wasn't worth staying up late to watch.
Also, he unfortunately is an atheist (or at least was -- hopefully he turns before it is too late).
So one less person to watch. Talented fellow though.

I worked as an intern for Drew Carey and Craig is the most pro-American limey I;ve met.

He truly despises the Queen and anything “royal”. Trust me. Bringing coffee on the set while he narrates buying a TV at Best Buy and not having to sign a license to operate/own a TV like in the UK was music to our ears.

I still talk to Craig once in a while as he wanted a familiar face to be on his staff when he took over Late Show.

The reason why we hit it off was because I’m originally from Canada (Commonwealth country) and we exchanged ideas of socialist our former countries were. I told him back in canada (until now) we can’t buy beer and booze except from the gubmint’ approved stores and he LOL’d. He wanted to use that in one of the episodes.
