There’s a lot of helpful advice in your post. I’ll definitely try some of those. I don’t drink alcohol and do cut off caffeine in evening, (nicorette can’t seem to cut off though)have to sleep with a fan as I live by the highway (ramp too) and you’d be amazed at the vibrations the trucks generate when going by. Never heard of Atarax. Is it anything like Xanax? I do take a Xanax some nights and it’s great but it only works when I’m already sleepy but still can’t fall off. I’ve never tried any actual sleeping pill because I’ve a phobia about taking anything that is mind-altering like that.
Is that the only real side effect of Melatonin? I think I could live with that one :)
You're just a leaf in the wind, nobody understands that you have no control over your lot in life.
You are just locked in a cage from which you can not escape.
You poor baby :(
A few weeks ago a set of windmill electric generators were designated harmful up to 6 miles away because of the low frequency air pressure vibrations.

Stimulating subconscious pathways.
We know that activity in many nerves of the ear does not result in hearing. If the nerves from the utricle or semi-circular canals are stimulated, you may get eye movements and changes in tension of neck muscles, but you don't hear it.
The pathway of conscious hearing is very well established. It goes from the inner hair cells of the cochlea, through type I auditory nerve fibers, to the fusiform cells of the cochlear nucleus in the brain, and so on.
This pathway has been well-studied. The outer hair cells of the ear (the ones that are sensitive to infrasound) do not connect to this conscious pathway. They connect to the type II nerves (which make up 5% of the nerve fibers), then to granule cells in the brain, then to cartwheel cells and to a host of other pathways in the brain. The cartwheel cells are known to be inhibitory to hearing which may explain why the stimulation is not heard. It is known that granule cells are connected into circuits related to attention and alerting. It is not unreasonable to think that stimulation of this pathway could wake you up, and you wouldn't even hear what had actually woken you.
Symptoms: Sleep disturbance, panic, with chronic sleep deprivation leading to blood pressure elevation, memory dysfunction and more.
Yes - with the melatonin ... it is OTC but you have to take is EXACTLY as I stated... you can google and see why ... taken at the wrong time of night — 1:00 a.m. or 2:00 or something - and you will be a zombie until 3:00 p.m. the next afternoon...
Atarax ... Smith-Kline-someone ... Hyrizine ... it is not in the class of Xanax - not strong - not mind altering -— it will help you fall asleep and feel well - even if you wake up to go to the bathroom — then go back to sleep - I take two caplets.
Prescription in the U.S. but where I am in Thailand it is OTC
Personally, IMHO, I’d not take any drugs so as to avoid problems of the drugs.
Please protect yourself from harmful people. Sounds like both your workplace and your daughter, unfortunately, are shark-like. Wall off your emotions. Tell your daughter not to speak to you with disrespect. Leave where she is/her home if she continues. Sounds like you should also move, if you can.
Peace of mind is important to your health.
