You can blame it on an internal political conspiracy about tickets and fan base,

...I can do so, and all the rest of us can do so, as it is glaringly obvious to all but the most myopic Big Ten fanbase...

an early season loss to a 6-6 team that ended up being bowl eligible did not overshadow the Big-10 championship game, and that the TCU-Kansas game

...if you are in fact a BIG fan, I know I have to be patient, but it’s tough...so, in Big Ten land, a four point victory is worse than a fourteen point home loss in figuring post-season positioning...ok, gotcha...

amount of points scored on TCU during the Baylor loss

...Baylor scored 60 or better four times, and over 45 nine times...it’s what they do...if OSU played them instead of Neolithic BIG offenses (MU, PSU, Maryland) they’d have given up points too...then what would your argument be...?

and the lack of a Big 12 championship game sealed the deal.

...why not just admit it...it’s not that hard...prestige and a big fanbase sealed the deal...really, there’s no shame in admitting it, the playoff committee itself clearly believes it...so who are you not to...?

Nope, I'm not in Big Ten country. I'm in Texas, and even the Baylor fans I know are disappointed, but acknowledge that their fate was sealed with a lack of a conference championship game coupled with OSU's overwhelming victory.

I would have much rather seen TCU or Baylor play Alabama, as I think they'd have a better shot.

I just letting you know how impartial observers with no stake in the game view it.
