Shocking Public Suicide In West Dallas

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Police are investigating after a body was found in the street Wednesday afternoon at Singleton Boulevard and Vilbig Road.

Witnesses tell CBSDFW they saw a man scribble something in Spanish on his van. He then tied one end of a rope around his neck and the other end around a fire hydrant. The man then drove off, decapitating himself.

The van came to a stop without hurting anyone.

It’s not clear exactly what the man wrote on the van.

How did they know about the few seconds? Did any of the victims tell the story?

But it does sound plausible considering that it takes a few seconds before all the blood drains from the head and the victim loses consciousness.

Excuse me, I didn’t know someone else had done the deed before him. The news sometimes doesn’t make it to the outback here in greater Podunk.

I’m still trying to make some sense of it. Doesn’t make any sense unless the van he was he driving was one of those taco wagons we frequently see here in Texas. That presents several possibilities. Or, it might have been one of those drive-by suicides. Who knows.
