I don’t expect Jameis Winston will be expelled. Jimbo Fisher has many friends, as did Bobby Bowden when he was HC. Doesn’t matter if this was handed off to an impartial entity. Winston will only receive a reprimand. I will be shocked if it comes to anything more than that. The good ole boy network is very strong throughout Florida.
Yeah, that’s the ticket...besides, those uniforms are just so darn cute that they can’t lose to Arizona...again...
As a Gator, I tend to agree that FSU is getting hosed.
So they play in the ACC, the ACC went 4-0 last weekend against the SEC, granted they were teams in the SEC (l)East. But the bottom line is they are the ONLY team not to have a slipup, yes games have been close, but when you are the only unbeaten, that should count for something.
That being said, I think Georgia Tech is going to pull the upset.
So...this selection committee is supposed to disregard the results on the field so as to enact justice off of it? This process would make the Kremlin blush...

I like Georgia Tech’s chances against FSU too. FSU played Citadel in week 2 (the game where a Citadel player admitted to trying to take out FSU player’s knees b/c of all the cut blocking the Citadel did). I think Citadel knocked 5 FSU players out of the game, 2 of them for a long time after too.
The way GT plays with that trip O and all the cut blocks doesn’t bode well for the FSU D line. FSU with only a week to prep for that style, this is a bad matchup for FSU.
From a Nole to a Gator, thank you, dfw. I’ll stand by UF any chance I get except when they play the Noles. As FSU alum, I’m nervous about FSU, but I’m proud of them for going undefeated against this season.
This new playoff system is as much of a joke as the previous system, but I shouldn’t pass judgement until after the season is over. We’ll see if the best teams in the NCAA are truly matched up.

All good but...what happens when TCU CRUSHES (and embarrasses) Iowa State!?!
I think the selection committee thinks TCU is flat out better on a neutral field than Baylor. If it weren’t for the close, late, ref assisted Baylor win over TCU, Baylor would not be in the top 10 right now.
It’s ok. If FSU and Bama win this weekend, they will play in the Sugar Bowl. FSU can prove to the world that they are the best. And then they can go on to the game in Dallas and prove it again. They will not be knocked out of the playoffs unless they lose.
meanwhile, FSU fans can watch the Jameis drama farce that is going on this week. It should Tide them over. I doubt it will keep them from defeating Georgia Tech this weekend.

The dye is already cast...This process of moving FSU down a position every week is designed to make it look like the committee had no other choice but to remove FSU from playoff consideration...if that happens, FSU should decline any other bowl bid and sue the NCAA.
Looks like we’ve got our guy, McElwain. Probably gets done today.
No way FSU is not in the playoff if they win Saturday.
