NASA's New Horizons spacecraft is set to awake on Dec. 6 from the last of its 18 hibernation periods and prepare for its initial approach towards Pluto, which will take place on Jan. 15.
The spacecraft is scheduled to come as close as 6,200 miles from the surface of Pluto on July 14, 2015 -- the closest any man-made object has come to the dwarf planet.

Ornery vikings!
I didn’t want to come off as an old geezer braggart. God has really led me through some (to my mind) amazing experiences. I’ll give you a bit more in a private reply later today.
Thanks for your kind inquiry.
My dad was working on airplanes before there were jet engines, parts he built are on the Moon and Mars.

Oooops! I hit a wrong key!
I did the car & truck auction in Fairfield, NJ on Tuesdays; went south and spent the night in Bordentown, NJ where I did it again on Wednesday.
Went home to spend the night and then drove to Bel Air, MD on Thursday for another car & truck auction. When I got home Thursday evening there was often a message on my phone machine that I was needed at Manheim Auto Auction on Friday.
And probably 35+ Saturdays in a year my brother Bob and I had a farm auction, household, antique, coin or firearms auction on Saturdays. Bob and I have been totally retired for 5 years.
Most importantly, on August 18, 1962 I accepted Christ as my personal Savior. Then on August 24, 1963 I married my wife Darlene. We have 1 child, a daughter. And the cherry on top is that we all: wife, daughter, son-in-law, 2 granddaughters all love Jesus.
Granddaughter #1 is a Junior in the RN Degree Program at Penn State. And the younger one is 13 going on 20....but a sweet girl and loves Jesus. Our daughter manages 160+ people at Blue Shield, and her husband is the local funeral director in town.
I won’t bore you with any more. But as I look back over my life, which I have memories of all the way back to 3 years old, I give God the glory for where He brought me to. And the only reason I can come up with for the 126 IQ is that although I scorned “book larnin” and dropped out of high school, I was a voracious reader from the time I learned to do it.
Blessings upon you and yours.
