“Plumbers gotta shop, too.”
HAHA good one !
Is it authentic Mexican or Southwestern American “Tex-Mex” Mexican? Last I was over there, they were just beginning to have some variety and moving away from traditional English bland.
To be honest, not being a fan of the stuff, I don’t pay close attention to the differences in that type of food. So, sorry, I don’t know. London has fantastic food now although in the bad old days they had the most wonderful Indian food (and they still do!)
My heyday there was during the nineties. Indian food opened the door for them as you say. Outside London it was pub grub, fish & chips or traditional boiled fare at the time.
Traditional Mexican isn’t as spicy and often not spicy at all. Not so colorful either, although there are regional variants. What we typically think of as being Mexican is actually Tex-Mex.
Except for the cheerleaders...
“Now that’s the ‘oliday spirit,” says Benny Hill.
America’s cultural contributions to the world.
Black Friday mayhem and cheerleaders.
I found the cheerleaders doing their bit during the frenzy almost Month Python-like. All that was needed was one of the troupe giving a “natives in the wild” sort of speech with comments on various assaults...
Or ref’ing the carious fights throughout the store-
“Over in the Mooslim section, we have a clerk being assaulted for not discounting hummus today.”
“In lingerie, Three-ton Betty got a new teddy. Too bad it would not even fit over her bicep...”.
Pants up, don’t toot!
