Nice!
I love ll Divo. I'd never heard of them until a few years ago while driving I heard Unbreak My Heart And I thought WOW, WHO is that? (and they're all so cute. LOL)
A little background on ll Divo for those who aren't familiar with them:
Il Divo is a multinational operatic pop vocal group created by manager Simon Cowell. Formed in the United Kingdom, they are signed to Cowell's record label, Syco Music.[1] Il Divo is a group of four male singers: French pop singer Sébastien Izambard, Spanish baritone Carlos Marín, American tenor David Miller, and Swiss tenor Urs Bühler. To date, they have sold more than 26 million albums worldwide.[2]
The idea behind Il Divo's creation came to Cowell after hearing Andrea Bocelli perform "Con te partirò" while watching The Sopranos. In 2004, G4, a quartet of operatic male singers, also appeared in the UK on Cowell's TV show The X Factor. They finished runners-up, but were signed by Sony records - ironically, the lead singer of this group, Jonathan Ansell, had previously auditioned to be a member of Il Divo.[3] Cowell was already aware of this new appreciation for lyrical voices and classical music, he had decided to form a multinational quartet (the members hail from Spain, Switzerland, France, and the United States, the name being in Italian) that recreated the style of The Three Tenors.
Cowell conducted a worldwide search for young singers who were willing to embark on the Il Divo project, which lasted two years, from 2001 until December 2003, when the fourth member of Il Divo, American tenor David Miller, was signed. The well-established formation of Il Divo comprises a renowned Spanish baritone, Carlos Marín; two classically trained tenors, Swiss Urs Bühler and American David Miller; and a French pop singer, Sébastien Izambard.
Il Divo sings in Spanish, English, Italian, French and Latin. Il Divo was named the Most Multinational UK No.1 Album Group in the 2006 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records.

I like this one:
The Winner Takes It All https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBzna6QVKRg
The Winner Takes All was awesome, had never heard it before.
They really are wonderful and - YES - cute as can be!
Amen! Totally agree. The BEST!!! Josh Groban sings this song the way it should be sung. His voice is incredible and the music is beautiful. Who sings it better? I would like to know.
I also really like Andy Williams’s version. His voice is beautiful especially when he hits the high note.
ll Divo take great old songs and put an operatic twist to them. Cowell is a genius.
Andy Williams had a fantastic voice. I don't think there will ever be an equal.
I’m in love with that French guy. LoL
People sent in photos from around the world for the video.
An excellent rendition accompanied by an excellent video.
Green Christmas--Stan Freberg (1958)
He is strikingly good looking, isn’t he? Sort of the Best in Show :-)
Goosebumps!
Bagpipes in the Colosseum? Hey, why not?
Thank you for posting that!
It has the same effect on me too.
I usually play it with the speakers set at "shattered eardrum."
Not sure of the title but it starts out, “O Beautiful Star of Bethelehem...”
There’s also “Go, tell it on the mountain ...”
Yes, the Frenchman is SO handsome! Some’how he looks more ‘American’ than the American..if that makes sense.
How DOES he do that?
I first heard “Beautiful Star of Bethlehem” back in the early ‘seventies, on an album by Jeannie Greene (she had been a backup singer for Elvis.) She did “Beautiful Star” as part of a medley, “Magdelene’s Medley”, which included “Oh, How I Love Jesus” and “In the Garden”.
Absolutely beautiful, and that old LP is still one of my prized possessions. You can still buy the album, on CD; and it contains the following:
1. Yes I Do Understand
2. You Know Who You Are
3. Put Your Good on the Line
4. Thank God He Came
5. Like a Road Leading Home
6. Swaziland Remembered
7. Joa-Bim
8. Mighty Time
9. Magdalene s Medley
10. Pre-Recognition
11. Only the Children Know
12. Peter Put Away Your Sword
13. Going Home

There is a magnificent stamp this year that depicts the wise men and the star. Its mysterious and beautiful.
