The University of Massachusetts Amherst severed its ties Wednesday to alumnus Bill Cosby, joining a growing number of colleges to distance themselves from the entertainer amid accusations he sexually assaulted more than a dozen women.
Cosby, who received a master’s and a doctorate in education from the college, was an honorary co-chairman of the school’s ongoing $300 million fund-raising campaign. He and his wife, Camille, donated several hundred thousand dollars to the school, and the comedian was frequently cited in the past as one of the university’s most notable alumni.

Why didn’t they do it years ago when the allegations first came out?
Good question, this is the second round for this news and the first one should have been sufficient for some people and organizations to back away from him and keep their distance.
The Occupy types are all piling on now. It must be safe.

All politics aside, I seriously dont know what to make of any of this. IS this all true? Could this really be the Mr. Hyde that is behind a guy that for decades people would feel safe leaving their kids with?
Part of me hopes that all of this is lies, just because I grew up watching Fat Albert, The Cosby Show, The Electric Company, and Picture Page, and really saw Cosby as one of the best role-models out there. But part of me knows this is more likely than not the real story, and that yet decent person (again politics aside) that you could have your kids watch and not have to worry that they are getting BS feed to them, is now off-limits.

Wait a minute, that means he raped 8 women.

He hates republicans, was a huge supporter of Tawana Brawley and is a hardcore racist democrat and a supporter of Obama.
