The Miami media finally got around to reporting a little bit about the shooter at FSU.
NOTHING, however, about the victims.
I have seen enough liberal media to know that if the shooter were white and had shot two or three black students, RACISM would be the drumbeat....
In this case, the shooter was black....but the victims have not been identified.
Muslim convert? No Muslim name released so far though.
Yup Psychotropic drugs AGAIN!
Where do you GET tinfoil these days? I can only find that second-rate aluminum stuff!
Tom, I agree with you. Most of these shooters (all?) are indeed bonkers.
My main point was how the MEDIA treats these episodes.
perhaps you are correct... i read in one article that he was a lawyer... and in others i read he went to law school...
I wonder if he was an “affirmative action” success as a law student but then couldn’t pass the bar or get a position. Affirmative-action does many no favors.
Then it's most likely they were.
I presume FSU is a kill zone school. Imagine if tho guy just wanted to kill a lot of white infidels instead of 3 an waiting for the police. Good response time but misleading as he was waiting for them. If he had stayed inside and the police needed a plan before entering the building he could have done a VA TECH. I suspect most students have been indoctrinated in government k-12 schools on to be passive and not proactive in these situations. So no ccw, no defensive training. Lucky it wasn’t a bloodbath. I’m sure the LSM is deeply disappointed along with the shooter bring an ebama son and fellow moosie.
According to the report in my local paper today, someone close to him said that he was “ an accomplished attorney” and that he was studying to pass the bar exam. I’m having trouble reconciling the two assertions.
The Florida State Bar does not offer reciprocity with any other state as far as I can tell by some quick research, so that would make sense.
I don’t think the question is about whether or not the shooter was racist. The quesstion is about the motives of the media, which definitely are.
that's what you wonder? there are lots of incompetent lawyers representing different "colors" out there... he is certainly AA being that he is black... even if he did not "need" AA to help him along, he would be counted in the AA numbers... many years ago i had this experience: i had been working at a job for several months when my Director realized that i am Latina... he did not know it by looking at me, but once he got to know me, he knew... he got excited and walked down the hall to EEO to make sure they knew he had a Latina working in his group... i did not get the job because of Affirmative Action, but i was counted in their AA numbers...
About the books — I don’t think a Kindle would have stopped a bullet.
I believe the one book was by John Wyeth.
LOL there’s a new device to market...ballistic e-reader covers!
"May is a lawyer who graduated from Florida State, class of 2005, and attended law school at Texas Tech, according to his Facebook page. He also studied at Gulf Coast State College. His social media page says that hes the In-house Legal Counsel at Taunton Family Childrens Home, though the founder of the charity said he didnt have a role with the organization and that she didnt know why he listed himself as such.
and
" According to Lawyers.com, he was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2010 and worked at Kennard Law in Houston. His page at the Texas Bar website lists his areas of practice:Administrative and Public, Business, Consumer, Criminal, Insurance, Labor-Employment, Litigation: Commercial, Litigation: Personal Injury, Other, LGBT Law, Workers Compensation, Appellate: Civil, Appellate: Criminal, Disability Law.
His mental illness took his life before he was taken out by the local LE. I have a lifelong friend who suffers from similar extreme paranoia and delusions. Very sad crippling state of affairs.
Let me put it this way.
I don’t think the media is covering up any racism as they have in the past. Knockouts, Murders, etc...
"The victims are student Elijah Velez, 18, who was grazed by a bullet and treated at the scene; student Farhan Ahmed, 21, who was in critical condition when admitted to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital and is still being treated, and library employee Nathan Scott, 30, who was shot in the leg. "
