Are you a "believer" a "denier" ... or an "agnostic"?

Are you a "believer" a "denier" ... or an "agnostic"?

When you put together a large group of people who are all certain that they can predict what will happen 100 years from now, a group that demonizes those who stray even a little from their beliefs, a group claiming that if everyone follows them, we will be saved, but if they don't we will be doomed - then in most cases, that group is called a religion.

Like most religions, this group also elevates the importance of mankind, so much so that humans are viewed as having more power over the globe than all other forces - more power than the wind, more power than the sea, more power than the molten magma under our feet, and even more power than the Sun. Yes - more power than the Sun! Like religions that once believed that the Earth was the center of the Solar System, and that the Sun revolved around the Earth, this group believes that the forces of nature on Earth revolve around what mankind does or does not do, and that even the power of the Sun is insignificant when compared to the mighty power of almighty human beings to affect their own destiny!

Most of you already know who I am talking about, so I ask again - Are you a "believer" a "denier" ... or an "agnostic"?

As for me, I would say that I am an agnostic, but leaning toward being a denier. And as most of you know, this post has nothing to do with God.

People believe what they want to believe, they subconsciously pick and choose the evidence that supports their beliefs. I am human, so I know that I am thus flawed as well.

Therefore, I choose to be agnostic about the whole thing, but very skeptical.

A denier for sure - or as I call it, a realist - and here’s a whole book on the subject: “The Deniers: The World Renowned Scientists Who Stood Up Against Global Warming, Political Persecution, and Fraud” by Lawrence Solomon (himself a former true believer) - read it and weep, warmists......

Agnostic leaning toward skeptic (not denier that denotes something else)

Theories can be proven true (or not), but until they are one should be skeptical and keep demanding proof.

7+ Billion people on a planet in my mind cannot have zero impacts whatsoever. (so would 7 billion elephants or whatever). But what is that impact? It might be something that we aren’t even thinking instead of what we are told it might be. I doubt it’s nothing, but I’m skeptical of what is being claimed and/or the scale of it.

100% denier.

Where I live, we’ve had two chilly summers-—they almost broke records—in a row, a very cold winter and spring, and now we’re in the middle of fall, with weather we normally see in January. There’s no such thing as global warming; that’s been proven. If anything, we’re seeing normal, cyclical cooling.

The belief that human beings can influence the weather is the height of arrogance. Keep in mind that the left, who originated the hoax, is Godless. They worship human intellect. In their warped minds, it’s entirely within the realm of human ability to “save the earth.”

Science and belief don’t mix. At the moment a theory is proven through scientific method, it become fact within the boundaries it was tested for.

Climate Science is polluted with fraud. There are no facts only ginned up hysteria to get the truly stupid among us to believe the lie.

...AND I MEAN F’N STOOPID.

The planet has been through a lot worse than us. Been through all kinds of things worse than us. Been through earthquakes, volcanoes, plate tectonics, continental drift, solar flares, sun spots, magnetic storms, the magnetic reversal of the poles…hundreds of thousands of years of bombardment by comets and asteroids and meteors, worlwide floods, tidal waves, worldwide fires, erosion, cosmic rays, recurring ice ages…And we think some plastic bags, and some aluminum cans are going to make a difference? The planet…the planet…the planet isn’t going anywhere. WE ARE!

I am definitely not "a believer" when it comes to so-called climate science. Science is facts, reproducible, verifiable, intellectually defensible experiments and analysis. It does not require any element(s) of "belief" - you either accept the theory/analysis as valid or not.

So no, I am not "a believer." When you look at the facts of climate science, look at the way data and models have been used, abused, and manipulated for a political agenda... No way, no way in ....

I'm not "a denier" either. I completely and utterly reject that term as being in any way valid. It is simply and transparently an ill-conceived attempt to taint the debate with emotional terms.

denier!!! At the current levels of available technology, we are multiple orders of magnitude away from being able to induce climate change short of the simultaneous detonation of every nuclear warhead on the planet and coincident with meltdown of nuke power generating plants globally. all of which I count as unlikely to the point of impossibility.
the arrogance of man believing that his power puts him on a par with THE ALMIGHTY is hubris beyond my understanding
