The U.S. Department of Agriculture has approved Idaho-based J.R. Simplot Co.'s new genetically modified potato. But one of the company's oldest business partners — McDonald's — hasn't.
The fast-food giant says it doesn't use genetically modified potatoes, the Idaho Statesman reported. "McDonald's USA does not source GMO potatoes, nor do we have current plans to change our sourcing practices," the company said in a statement.

GMO is changing the DNA of a seed. In contains Glyphosate (Which Is Round Up For Your Lawn At Your Local Home Depot or Lowe’s) that keeps the bugs off of it. So when you are eating GMOS... you are eating low doses of Round Up that people sprary on their lawn to kill grass, weeds, etc... Oh but the companies, like Monsantos, say it’s safe because you are only getting small ammounts of it. Kind of like Arsenic in small ammounts. And people wonder why Cancer is exploding in our crountry???
While the hybrid seeds are the RNA of a seed. So science is coming up with with new food. It would be the equivalennt of mixing say a Spider with a Monkey, but on a food level....
The RNA change allows bio techs to come up with new grown food that God never put on this planet. It’s the food version of “The Island of Dr. Moreau”.
I prefer the food that we ate, World Wide, as far back as time can go all the way up until 1994 when the first GMOs came out. Then it all changed....... The way we made food then , prior to 1994, is call “Organic” today. When you buy Organic, then you are buying food that is not substitised by the American Tax payer. Thus, you are seeing the true price of food. The only reason why the GMOs are cheaper is because the food industry receives money to keep the prices lower.
Both GMO/Hybrid food are called Franken Food. Kind of like the story of Frankenstein. This type of food orignates from a lab and not from a farm.
After all low doses of it, like the Glyphosate (AKA Round Up Genius) in your GMO, is safe..... LOL!
