The best way to help blacks is to ignore the fact that they’re black and just do what’s right for the country.
Here in Michigan black unemployment is still extraordinarily high but has fallen at a faster rate than anyone else. Race is seldom mentioned by Michigan republicans but republican policies are bringing jobs to where blacks happen to be.
If amnesty goes through the Democrats will have officially kicked Black voters to the curb. They won’t need them anymore because of the new illegal class. Are Blacks aware of this? Highly doubtful. Another sad episode of Democrats abusing Blacks for their own purposes.

While I’ve always considered myself fairly well acquainted with black cultural habits, taboos and social norms due to having had a number of black people as friends over the course of my life, I have to say I am curious about this black people not camping thing, and the article said nothing about it that I could see. Black people fish, black people go hunting. Maybe the author is too urban to realize this. Or, maybe there’s something else going on and I’m the one missing a clue, lol. I’ve never really thought about it but can’t recall ever seeing a black person camping. There’s a sort of wackiness about the notion of a black family towing an Airstream heading off to wherever, I guess because it’s just such a stereotypically white thing to do. But again, I’ve never thought about it. Will somebody who knows the answer please chime in, lol?

This article reminds me of the scene in the movie “Fritz the Cat” where Fritz goes into the crow bar spouting off about how enlightened he is, how guilty he feels for being a cat, and how much he knows about the crows’ problems. Then he turns to the crow bartender and says, “Hey boy, give me a drink.”

Hair relaxer and straightening irons and yes black people do camp like everyone else.

In 1966 I started working on the oil rigs in South Louisiana. These were the best jobs you could get. There were no blacks because they were discriminated against in those times. In 1969 I saw the first black working offshore on the rigs. He was a good guy and worked his ass off.
When I left the oilfield in 1983 I was seeing black roustabouts, black engineers, etc. A good job is the answer to black poverty. A good education is the answer to black poverty. Good laws against discrimination are the answer to to the stupidy of prejudice. The Democrat party does not help the black man. The Democrat party keeps him on the plantation.

My boss is black and I could not ask for a better man. He grew up in the time of bad discrimination in the 60s. He became a pharmacist and did not blame others. He seized the dream despite the obstacles placed in his path.
