My wife had a terrible gastric attack today. She went to the ER and the attending physician said that her small intestine wall should be 1/8" is more than an inch thick!
I know I am not the most popular guy on this board and I have made many very unhappy.
But for this moment, can you please put aside that and pray for my wife? I 100% assure you that everyone who ever met her made it clear I married up and even my family loves her more than I. With good reason/
She is the sort of person that embraces every new person as a new friend and it takes all of 1/10th of a second to be lifelong friends.
A small prayer would be greatly appreciated.

I have collagenous colitis which is a thickening of the large intestinal wall. I fully appreciate what she’s experiencing and will most definitely keep her in my prayers. Also, prayers that you’ll be with her soon.

(One small thought- Your wife is where she needs to be right now. The medical team will watch over her until you can get there. They will do everything they can to help her get better.)

How frustrating for you, freedumb2003, to be so far from home at this time. Praying that your wife comes through surgery stronger and healthier than ever, and also praying that you will be at her side when she needs you the most after surgery. God bless both of you.

I have had so many beautiful responses — I reply back you yours because it is so lovely and I do hope everyone responding to this thread knows how much love I have for all of them.
After surgery tomorrow I will link this to her (she is tech savvy).
Again, I thank you all so very much and I do not hesitate to use the word love for the responses I have received.
