If its been tested, then fine.

Just because its from Fukushima doesn’t mean it was near the plant. Prefectures are pretty big.

Would you eat “nuclear soup”?

I don't know that I'd eat it, but I think I just found my band's new name.

(Rats. Nevermind. I see that the URL nuclearsoup.com is already taken. Phooey.)

Sounds more Mexican than Japanese.

I wouldn’t have a problem eating vegetables from Fukushima, but I’d sure think twice before eating anything prepared by Japanese artists.

Would you eat Liberian grown fruit?
How about beef from a region with mad cow disease?

The “artist’s” point is idiotic. Clearly areas near the damaged plants have elevated isotopes of cesium and strontium. Only the areas directly adjacent to the plant have levels that are above safety criteria; most of the prefecture is at background levels. And a cook is not qualified to assess food safety.

More fear mongering.

Frankly, I’d eat something grown in Fukushima if the producer also ate some.

But no way would I trust anything prepared by a self-described “artist” with a political agenda.
