The Giants are a great organization, and have great fans no matter what anybody thinks of the City. I love San Francisco, and I sure can't stand the people running it, but that is no reason to disparage the team or its fans. They're a class act too.
Absolutely. Tremendous respect for Frisco, especially after they swept the Tigers in 2012. I really like how Bochy rode the horse Bumgarner to finish out the game. I don’t know if any other manager would have done that. One of my biggest pet peeves is the whole idea of a “setup” man and a “closer”. I’d go with who is hot to finish a game or at a minimum pitch them 1 time through the batting order.
SF doesn’t deserve the team. Sadly, neither does New York.
Haven’t watched a single play all year.
A good friend of mine went Game 6 in KC in full Giant regalia as was treated like an honored guest by the home town fans. He said he never once bought his own beer and took more pics with his new KC buds than he could count. Hat tip to the class act that is KC.
Absolutely agree. SF is a neat city in spite of the rats who
run it. SF may be the most libtard city in the US. That makes
all the other cities with pro sports franchises conservative meccas? I’ve got a news flash. .....cities tend to run by libturds. If you cheer for pro or college sports you have to
hold your nose. The Giants are a business. Like all other
teams the players come from all over the place. Hate them or
love them but remember for now, they are World Series Champions.
